I'm livid with Spectrum. Not only do they have inadequate representatives working for them, but they also rob their customers as well. Not to mention they deliver terrible service. Half the time the internet doesn't work, or it doesn't travel into another room. I'm so disappointed with this company it's beyond words. I'm looking to leave soon and go to Verizon Fios. The only thing stopping me is waiting on the refund that spectrum owes me for not taking my cable away 4 months ago yet still charing me for it and then threatening me they would disconnect my service if I didn't pay. read more

Been a customer for years .. lots of issues, but as i was not living in my cabin full time, i dealt with it. But now trying to resolve that they never saw the correct modem i am using .. and i keep dropping and have to hard reset, i would like to get the issue resolved. I have tried getting customer service numerous times. As i have to use VOIP and the internet is not very reliable, i can't get with tech support over the phone (also they have 60 minute + wait times). So now i have been sitting on my computer for close to an hour waiting for online support. Estimated wait time was 30 minutes. Unbelievable. read more

I have being using Spectrum/Time warner for 10 years. IT SUCKS! in july 2017 my bill was 49.99 for "high speed" internet only. Today my bill is 69.99. So it almost doubled in 4 years and the service is the same shitty service. What they call high speed is laughable in any city or suburban area. 75 MBPS for down load... Governor Cuomo's and Assemblywoman Gunther are pushing for the $341 Million Round III Investment that Provides Last Mile Funding to Ensure High-Speed Internet. I live on Elk Point Road, Livingston Manor (closer to Liberty) and it's like pulling teeth to get Spectrum to extend their cable only .3 miles. I live in Sullivan cnty and spectrum takes advantages from customers who had time warner. I am a senior and pay 174.00 for cable and tv no extras. Every year the raise you 21.00. However if u never had cable you can get a rate of 89.00 but like me they raise the rate cause their is no other company but Verizon and satellite company's and they know it. No one pays what our residence pay and if I got phone it would be over 200.00. I hope our local politicians will put them out of business. They are scamming every customer cause they are a monopoly. Hey everyone! So i've been having like THE WORST time with spectrum okay this is in LIBERTY, NY 12754!! They ignored all my request and even ignored BOTH set up days i had scheduled for them to come set my internet up... they didn't even take the payment when i asked them to... this review isn't to bash spectrum its simply for a young man who WORKS AT SPECTRUM! His name was Shannon, and I wanna say that Mr. Shannon was the most delightful young man I have spoke with. He got my payment taken out of my card AND he got the people to come set my internet up THE NEXT DAY! You need more employees like this as they are super helpful and he was super friendly! I was even able to have side conversation with him just cause I WANTED to engage conversation with him! He even had some jokes up his sleeve which made the phone call enjoyable. This review is SPECIFICALLY FOR HIM! You guys got 3 stars because of him and him only! Personally I give Mr. Shannon a 5 star service!! read more

I have been a customer for almost 30 years. Internet often fails suddenly. Along with it, goes the landline phone. Every month, the bill is more than the month before. Several years back, I dropped TV, because of these increases in cost. This brought my bill for phone and internet back down to what the three services (with TV) originally costed. Now (with only internet and phone), my payments have raised up to what the three services costed when I quit TV only a few of years back. I am paying more than what new customers are charged for three high-tier services... to get the slowest internet and landline-- which phone is basically just kept for emergency, and largely unused except for incoming telemarketers. Almost 100 a month for unreliable, slower internet, and landline. New customers only pay $80 a month for everything (but not for long). I have never been late paying my bill. I estimate I have paid well over $25,000.00 to this company, but the longer you are with them, the more they screw you. They want prompt payment and loyalty, but their service is unreliable, and their loyalty to long standing good customers, doesn't exist. I can't wait to switch from this monopoly. read more
