But I completely understood since the guitars are hanging on small hooks and could easily fall out of a customer's hands. The staff took me on a short tour of the acoustic guitars with brief guidance of their pricing, sound and quality. The guitar pricing ranged $400 to several thousand depending on the brand, appearance and structural integrity. Penny Lane offers lifetime warranties on select guitars and provide in-house repairs. Aside from musical string instrument sales they offer lessons from professional instructors but its not cheap. The one hour private lesson is $180.00 or a discounted four sessions of lessons for $550.00. I have experience with the electric rock n' roll guitars from the 1980s but thought it would be a change of scenery to purchase an acoustic guitar and learn the chords the right way. The minute we walked in there is a sign saying smile you are on camera. The store looks like a mini camera museum and was interesting to see all the different midels and old camera version through the glass windows. Amazing to see the evolution of the camera through the years. We were greeted by Pete who was really friendly. He took a look at our camera and knew right away it was a 20 year old plus camera. He said it was a really good camera back in the day. The camera needed a new lens and frankly he said it would cost more than if we bought a new one. We appreciated his honesty and advise even though we decided it wasn't worth repairing it. They do have great service and recommend as they are straight forward and honest.

Pete is an absolute ANGEL who truly cares about fixing your camera for a fair price. One thing about me: I don't know anything about cameras or what it takes to repair them, but Pete not only fixed it expeditiously but also explained what was wrong with my camera and how to take care of it. I went to the clinic for my Canon G7x Mark II after my friend accidentally dropped it, causing the lens to shift awkwardly inside. Before going to the camera clinic, I had visited 3 other repair shops to see if they could fix it, but all of them were giving me insane prices before even finding out what was wrong with it. Once I got to Pete, he looked into the problem first (which took about 3 days to get back to me), then called me to tell me what was wrong and the estimated repair price ~$400-500. The repair took about 4 days. At the end of the service, he taught me how to better care for my camera and even gave me a case for it out of the kindness of his heart!

This is the place to buy if you are looking into getting an instrument and this is the place if you need work on your current instrument. Highly recommend and I will be back!:)
