Nothing says a good start to the weekend, like a conveniently located liquor store right by work. Luckily for me, it's right around the corner from where I grew up, so I've stopped here a few times for last-minute bottles for trips or nights out on the town. I most recently needed a flask for a wedding, and they surprising had a few different options for me. The liquor selection is decent, having all of your major brands, jack, jim, patron, grey goose, captain's, among others. I haven't had to stop there for wine, so I've never looked at its selection, but seems pretty decent, based upon its size. The prices you pay are for the convenience, it's no Premiere. It's not outrageous, but I know it's a few dollars more than I should be paying. However every time I've stopped it, it's been the owner working the counter, so I don't feel all that bad paying a little more helping him out.

The male pharmacists are so rude - one even hung up on me when I called to ask when my already more than week overdue script would be ready. I honestly don't think they will be around much longer as anyone I talk to who goes there has also had bad experiences with the rudeness of the workers (even store workers). I'm shocked that they kept this location open when they had their bankruptcy closures to be honest. This one should have been on the chopping block. The store is filthy and the shelves bare of almost everything but the pharmacy is absolutely horrible.

That aside, prices are usually pretty good. The lot is a bit tight and this location gets pretty busy. There is also a Tim Horton's drive-thru and a car wash located on the property. Just a note, they recently changed their credit system and there is no reference mentioned for "credit" only for "debit" when you insert your card. I selected the "debit" on the left of the screen (a second debit reference is on the right side of the screen) and it did process my card as credit.

And every month, you can choose your "perk" - I always choose double points on gas! Food and drink is reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. Manager is great; I have even gone in and paid for gas and then got in my car without pumping and drove home, realizing my error as I got to my street. I went back to the store and the manager fixed my silly mistake. There is also a Tim Hortons here and a drive through car wash (I have not used it so I can't comment on this). If you use the car wash, you can save some change on the cost of gas.
