Then the cashier proceeded to look at me funny and then tell me it was taxes. So I pointed at the bottom of the receipt and I said no, these are taxes I paid on the entire purchase. so basically, I was being told that I pay taxes on the individual item plus all of the items put together. if you continue to go to the store and everyone that goes through the doors gets ripped off $.25. think about that.

This little place is another one of those wonderful little places near my job that I just can't…read morehelp but frequent because it's right off the road I turn into and sometimes you need breakfast, lunch, cigs or a drink when you're heading in. All the employees here are top notch and couldn't be sweeter and more real with you while you're checking out. They have Hunts Bro's Pizza (which is probably the best gas station pizza you can ask for) for around $3 a slice which is perfect for stopping in for a quick bite. You can also call and have them make you a pizza as well for only about $10. Unlike a lot of gas stations that just have roller items they also serve sandwiches, bacon (Yes bacon that's fresh cooked), onion rings, cheese sticks and a lot more to choose from for your fixin for some foodin. They keep a pretty good selection of things you may need for your car like oil, coolant, windshield wiper fluid and air fresheners. They have chilled and unchilled soft drinks and wine. It does get a little busy sometimes because of Meynards and it's the go-to place for myself and my co-workers as well but I've never had a bad experience here except the wait sometimes. The ladies and gentlemen who work are some of the best and since I normally stop here once a day the employees make my day a little brighter.

But the thing that excited me is super nerdy but worth mentioning. The air pump for your tires is amazing! Why? First off, it accepts credit cards which is handy for those of us who don't carry quarters. But other places have that. This air compressor, however, allows you to program the air pressure that you want with an intuitive interface and then it will raise or lower your tire pressure to that specific psi! No more holding it on the stem, pulling a trigger and periodically checking the nasty brass gauge. It just DOES it! For the same price! Sorry. It made me happy.
