And that was at least partly my fault. However, nothing happened other than a close call, and the man, clearly known to the manager Kai, went to the register, very friendly to him, laughing and chatting, and then left the store. I then went to the register to check out and reported it to Kai. I even used the word threatened. He just said something like "awwww" but did nothing about it and didn't offer to report the incident. Kai normally is very friendly. Perhaps he does not realize what he needed to do if a customer reports feeling threatened under his watch. But I will not be going there again. UPDATE--I called Kai at the store and calmly explained the situation again. He apologized, but said if it is something "between customers" he does not get in the middle of it. I asked why, if he was manager on duty, that he would allow such activity in the store. He stated he misunderstood, and thought it was in the "parking lot," which, even if it had been, would in my view have been under his jurisdiction to intervene if needed. I told him I would not be back.

They were crazy busy and most likely understaffed but they did a great job trying to meet everyone's needs as quickly as they could. The pharmacist Lily was super human with all she was juggling - filling prescriptions, answering questions, giving vaccines. We all need to take a collective breath and have more patience. All businesses are doing their best with the staffing shortage they are all experiencing. I for one am thankful I could walk into my neighborhood Walgreens and get my Covid booster. I was pleasantly surprised by how much i saved, but i can't remember off hand how much i did in fact save. I highly suggest if you shop at Hyvee often for your groceries or personal needs, getting a fuel savers card and using the hyvee gas station is totally worth it. Here is how it works: You earn points with every fuel savers item you purchase. You can usually tell its a fuel savers item when it has a red and black card above or under it stating so. Not to mention the fuel savers card is free, you just ask your cashier if they haven't asked you already, and then you activate it online. I suggest giving it a try, they have Hyvee's in New Hope, Eagan, and they are opening one up in Robbinsdale actually today!
