Pick up time 11am-3pm. No call no nothing. I call them at 2pm for confirmation to only be told it will be between 3pm and 4pm. 4pm is here. No call no show. I call them only to be told give us until 7pm. We only have two trucks. Nobody cares what you have or don't have if you tell a customer something that is what they are expecting. Don't make you're issue my issue. When I tell you this company is NOT RELIABLE you better believe it. I will never recommend not even to my enemy. It's 2023 and companies still have every excuse in the book to not let their word be their bond. This company should not be in business because they can't keep up at all. Imagine me have you come pick my car up and I'm nowhere to be found. A waste right, Right. Disgusting, unethical behavior. So, it's currently 4:44 as soon as they pick up this vehicle I'm going send this review..waiting...........it's now 6:21pm still waiting.....it's now 8:11pm. Called office and they said they called me. They said they had the wrong number. Lol! I sent a picture of the front and back of my title to the dispatcher via text from my cell at 2pm. They were to pick up a car from a business and transport it on Friday. They told us between 3 and 8 pm. They never showed. Told us we were rescheduled to sat am between 8 am and 12 noon we were waiting and then told it was rescheduled for Monday 3 to 8. We were told at 7:15 it would be within the hour on Monday. No one showed at 8:15 we called and they said it was going to be rescheduled. Now they say Thursday. I do not believe them. Wish we could change tow comanies. read more

True lifesavers!! They promptly answered the phone..gave me a firm quote..and showed up when promised. Amos is an awesome guy! He made a nightmare bearable. Showed up..quickly hooked me up..and took my car where I asked. He knows the area and a lot of the shops too. He'll tell you if he's heard bad things about them. That's rare and refreshing. You don't come across many truly genuine people in this business, but Amos is one of them. He was even sick, and was still very pleasant. When I'm sick I'm anything but pleasant!! Got to say the guys were on que from the initial call to dispatch to the drop off of my vehicle. My driver Torey, was fast, thorough and professional. After dealing with my insurance's disreputable towing company, I called these guys. My mother was stranded when the tire blew out yesterday and the priority was to get her out of there. The previous company wasted an hour of our time and I found Speedway Towing on yelp as a replacement. Speedway Towing guys were polite, friendly, professional and very on top of things. I called several times with questions and the operator was very friendly and patient. Unlike the other towing companies, he knew exactly where his driver was and sounded confident the driver would be there in 45 minutes. The driver indeed arrived in 45 minutes and (unlike other towing companies that hire sketchy characters), this guy named Arturo was terrific. Professional, friendly, and warm, he got my mother out of there in no time and delivered the car to the dealership. The price was reasonable too. I couldn't have been happier with Speedway Towing based on this experience. Next time I will not waste time calling dubious towing companies through my insurance. I would highly recommend Speedway Towing based on this experience, and I'm very grateful they were able to arrive so fast. Thanks, guys! I would not recommend them. I called them to get my car towed while I went to the dealership to get a rental car. When I left the towing person was picking the car up from the front end. When he got to the dealership, he had switched spots and was towing from the rear. There was damage located behind my front passenger tire wall. Looks like when he picked up the car, he had not gotten the tire but my frame. When I called for their towing insurance, they denied anything had happened and said they would email me with the information. Still no email. No response. Highly disappointed that a business runs this way. If you like damage to your car I would pick them, if not I would go to another towing company. read more

The Lousiana guy is the best. Very good service and reasonable prices. I got a flat tire but the lug nut is stuck and i dont have a breaker bar so i called them. They are 6 miles away. But they get to where my car parked pretty fast(it was inside road). I accidentally give em the wrong address but they dont charge for the gas. Very highly recommend them. I paid $140 to get my car towed to the dealership on 2/28 and discovered on 3/10 that they never got it. They had to go looking for it and stated it was left in an empty parking lot with the keys in the ignition left unattended. I called them and spoke with Steve and he was very dismissive and didnt seem to care what had transpired, became defensive and had an attitude. I had asked to speak with the owner but he acted like he wouldnt let me speak to them or have them contact me. He is also the same dispatcher in which i set the time to pick up my vehicle. The tow truck driver (Mark) sent me a message that I'd sent the wrong info and when i called him, became belligerent with me. I told him where i was at and had to navigate him to where I lived, because his gps had him going somewhere else. Then told him where to go after he had finally arrived to find my car, because the dispatcher didnt relay any of the information to him. Mind you I stated this 3xs where I lived and where it needed to go. Im extremely upset that my vehicle was left abandoned , my vehicle could have been stolen. Im also upset for the lack of service I had received and paid for a service that was not rendered. Here I am thinking my car was being worked on and it was just sitting in an empty parking lot. Steve and Mark both need to be fired for what had transpired. They are real lucky my car wasnt stolen. read more

I just came across the receipt for this and thought I would write a review. I got stranded at Alpha and Preston one evening @ 7pm and started calling towing companies. This was the only one that picked up and said he could be there in 10 mintues. Less than 10 minutes later, he was there and hooked me up. He towed my car to my mechanic and then drove me home. This was for service back in January 2013 and it's nice to see that he's still doing a great job and helping people. read more

Having accidentally left my keyless ignition on, my batt was shutdown and I was locked out of my vehicle after my son's wrestling match. I yelped tow services since I am from Houston. I called Speedway Towing, explained where I was & Amos, the owner, showed up 15 minutes later. He got into my car and we jumped started it. 35 minutes later I was on the way home to Houston. Amos was very nice, service was prompt & professional. I would definitely recommend them as he could have stuck me with a huge bill-stuck Saturday evening, out of town, etc. The charge was very fair. Called for tire assistance early morning and he was there within 15 mins...unfortunately he was unable to get tire off due to being rusted ...he kept trying for a while and after 45mins told him there's a tire shop on other side of hwy...he towed for no additional charge as some would have...excellent cust service I would def use them again !!!! read more

I have NEVER had a more efficient towing service experience! I called and was told the driver was 5 minutes away. The dispatch lady was not exaggerating! The driver arrived 5 min later with a flatbed truck. He was friendly and professional. He made sure I had everything I needed from my vehicle before he got it on the flatbed. He secured it completely and got it delivered to the right building at the stealership so quickly. I'm adding this number into my contacts. Unfortunately this establishment does not understand what customer service is! When the GPS marks that the tow truck with my vehicle turns the wrong and I'm concerned and call to find out what's going on, I get crapped on!!! Such foul treatment from a dispatcher named Martha that question my concerns and is not able to give me information about it..... Unbelievable!!! The owner is owned by the dispatcher Martha. To have her call him and have me on the other line listening while she mocks my concerns and leads him on....unbelievable!!! And to know that he doesn't care, what a business. Daughter experienced a breakdown out in Forney so, based on previous Yelpers, gave a frantic call out to Speedway and they assured me they could get to her quickly...and they did. 25 minutes later Arturo had her car on the flatbed for delivery to our mechanic in Downtown Dallas. He is even sent a text showing the car in their lot and confirmation where he left the key. On 11:30 pm on Christmas Eve, my fiance and I experienced a broken serpentine belt in south Dallas, while driving home to Austin. Given that it was still, in fact, Christmas Day, AAA had a very difficult time finding a service that was both capable and willing to do a 186 mile "pull". Fortunately, they were able to find both in Speedway Towing! Our driver, who also happens to be the owner of the company, stayed in constant touch with us until he arrived, at which time he went to painstaking lengths to make sure my Mercedes E320 was loaded carefully and properly secured,etc. The trip to Austin was actually enjoyable, thanks to Amos, and he not only delivered our car German Auto Center, but delivered us to our front door as well. Called Speedway to move my '63 Scout, and they gave me a great flat rate price and scheduled the pickup. Traffic delayed the flatbed I had requested, and they gave me the option to send a standard truck, which I accepted. Traffic delayed that one as well, but that was really beyond anyone's control. Driver was courteous, professional, and careful with my truck. He had no issues getting in and out of the tight garage spaces we were dealing with. Getting stuck on the side of the road is not fun and frustrating. Many of the towing companies we called before speedway towing tried to take advantage of our situation and gave us outrageous and unclear prices. Speedway gave us a flat price and they came fairly quick. The driver was very nice and professional, the truck was clean, and the all process of towing my car to the dealership went very smooth.
