And, do, on occasion walk down for this or that. What they don't have: Refrigerated coffee creamer They may have the powdered stuff (not totally sure) but definitely no dice on the good stuff. They only have, like, one kind of tortilla chips. The coffee, however, is actually better than most gas station coffee. And the folks- DEM FOLKS. All super nice and sincere when they tally up your shit and send you on your way with well wishes. So, in the ultimate scheme of things, all gas stations are shitty places we go to because we have to. But this Shell station (an evil corporation, BTW, but ma and pa gas stops like this barely give any of your skrilla to their corporate death squads) is run by nice people. A whole metric butt-ton of other places are not. Even Davey likes it. Pump layout is wonky and inconvenient - hard to get to and they have giant pump protectors which seem to line right up with my door. The second you start fueling, annoying ads begin blaring from the pump. It's really fucking annoying. I've been panhandled more times than not when filling up here. Gas prices aren't any better or worse here. Get bent, Jetz.

Other gas stations offer that too. The staff is friendly enough. The reason I am giving it two stars: - I don't like the layout of the car wash. It is very inconvenient. A lot of times I could not get the machine to work and it was a pain to get out of there. There is no extra lane to go around if you decide you do not want a car wash. The vacuums are set up in a spot that usually blocks the line for the car wash when it gets longer. - When you fill up with gas, this loud annoying advertising comes blaring out of the pump. The man in the pump tries to get you to buy more stuff, get a Jetz reward card because it is so awesome, etc. When I pump gas, I don't want to be barraged with loud advertising. I only stop here if I am really low on gas and I happen to be driving by. Pumps are open 24/7.

That means you'll likely have to wait for a pump because some goober parked in front of one to run in for cigarettes. The prices are consistently higher than other stations in the area as well. If I'm paying a premium for gas, well... I expect the pumps to actually WORK which isn't always the case. And to top it off, their employees are pretty rude too. Again, I'm not expecting much - but when I have to run in to pay because the credit card function on the pump is broken, I don't really want to wait while the sullen teenager working the register finishes up a round or two of Candy Crush.
