This Organization has reached an all time low for this "crap" industry, which is exactly where they should be placed.
I was a recently relocated Sioux Citian at the beginning of 2017. I unfortunately fell victim to Craigslist when the cousin of the owner of a home rented me a 3 bedroom home in Sioux City. Turns out, the house was basically red tagged, and I was only able to live there for about 2 months. During that time, there were all kinds of dramatic happenings including the back up of floor drains in the basement, and I was told by the owners agent (cousin) to call and arrange a time at Speedy Rooter that worked for me.
Speedy Rooter sent a couple of their best men, (lol), who were not there 10 minutes before dropping the router machine down the basement stairs and punching a huge hole through the plaster basement wall with their ancient 300+ pound equipment. The lead on the job then "fixed" the machine and decided they would continue on the project. The lead then somehow decided that he needed to replace a T valve on a fridge water line that has never been hooked up with the water, and did not even have the internal equipment to support a water dispenser, and despite me pointing out I never asked for this work, nor did I have any use for it, I was still charged full price for it.
Do you see what I did there...... I WAS STILL CHARGED full price for it. Ya, thats right. after a complete Shit show (literally), I started getting a bill for the $200, not the owner!
I never signed anything, its isnt my house, and I only lived there a matter of days past this repair before I found out the city was and had been in the process of red tagging my $900 / mo house, but was not able to fully move forward because of something with them not being able to contact the owner.
Months later, I called to tell them this was not my bill, not my house, and to remove my name from the account (as I assumed it was an error and that they would fix it when they looked at the account in a delinquent stage. They were able to give me the owners name no problem, to which they had contact info for in Colorado. The office manager was a real piece of work. Rude, with a special touch of trash appeal. After basically yelling at me, she told me she would forward it on to the manager and let them know of the situation and that it was not my bill. One week later, I get notice that they have now turned the $200 over to Noll Collection Agency (which seems like an appropriate below the belt choice of collection firms for this paramecium level operation).
I will dispute the bill, no worry, and will be filing a report with the better business folks. But, I just want to be sure you, as a potential customer,
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS JOKE OF A FIRM. They don't get much lower than this!
Not my house, not my bill, I was just trying to be nice and make a quick call for the owners agent, and accommodate my schedule to avoid the telephone game. How is this difficult? And then, when you are fully aware of the fraudulent situation I was put into and lost thousands of deposits over because the owner of 2710 Jones Street is a crook, you just jump right on the train to now try and ruin my credit?!?!
SMH.... as I said" NEVER NEVER NEVER contract this firm. Seems strange there are only 2 5 star reviews for this business thats been around for years. I know that to be as a result of prior ratings being flushed through various avenues. If this were not true, they would have more than 2, either way!
