It just happened that my DL expired a few days ago, in January 2021 so she refused to give me cigarettes and the bottle of wine. I'm 62 years old and only someone blind wouldn't notice that. They leave the same food under heat lamps all day, so that if you want to buy anything in the late afternoon or evening you are certain to get something rock hard and ruined. They don't bother to keep their soda syrups filled, they sell tea that is literally rotten, and they can't even keep the store open for posted hours because no one wants to work there. Half of the packaged products on their shelves are covered with dust- even their own store brand items. The worst part though is what little staff they have- I guess they just have to take whatever they can get, because they are the worst, rudest, least helpful people I have ever dealt with. They are petty and have terrible attitudes, they pretend to enforce "the law" but even their own signage proves that is a lie. Sending someone who is clearly over 40- therefore, doesn't need to be carded- back to their car in the rain for ID is a childish move by a hateful person who wants to use their job to spread their misery. This is the third time I've realized something like this has happened there. I also recently had an incident where I cashed in a $7 winning lottery ticket and also purchased several items. Realized later than night that she never applied the winning $7 towards my cash purchase. I don't have time to deal with checking my receipt every time I leave there and then go back in to deal with the mistake.
