My dryer broke down a few months ago , and I started going to speedy coin laundry mat in Latonia. That was a big mistake. I found myself cleaning every time I went in that place. There was stuff everywhere. The floors were filthy. It looks like it's never been cleaned underneath their sinks, I wouldn't use their bathrooms, I would go outside first, it's just disgusting so I decided that I would email the company instead of posting a nasty review about them to see if I could get anything accomplished. Well, needless to say I did not I even offered to work there, he said he has 24 hour workers, which I've never seen I've seen a girl out there, sleeping a lot of times but nobody cleaning, I asked her if she worked there, she told me no, but they say they're clean. And all it's false advertisement. But people have to care about the place they live, pick yourself up that you drop on the floor if you spill something wipe it up, I mean, come on, people get a little bit of pride in yourself and your community and actually makes me sick to think that this is how Latonia has turned out.\n But the owner reassured me that on his part, he would make sure that the stuff was clean. The floors and everything because they're not they're disgusting. The horses aren't wiped down the floors aren't clean, there's stuff everywhere underneath the sinks, is mold and mildew. I can't imagine what's in those washing dryers. And a lot of people don't have a car or any other way of going anywhere else, but there 'cause it's so close. So I think that the owners should make sure that their facility is as clean as they can keep it, he reassured me that it was and would be so I went there the other night and this is what I found I'm posting pictures, and I'm not sure what's going to let me close my video or not because I think it's too long but I've tried cutting it and I can't cut it without Missing the big place of it. So if you go there to wash your clothes just know that you've been warned. I would not wash nothing there. I would not dry nothing there. That was going to go in my house on my back or my body or my bed, anything?. I hope that the chooses see this as constructive criticism and fix the place up, you know, at least get the floors, get the mold and mildew away or that the people find another place to go. Decent amount of washers and dryers. Only a few take card and coins. Dryers are coins only. There are change machines but didn't see an ATM inside in case you need to pull out more cash. There are bigger washers that you can load comforters in, these take both cc and coin. No removable lint traps. Pretty warm in here. There is a vending machine for snacks and drinks. There's a Dari-Crest next door that sells food and ice cream in case you're gonna be there for a while. Overall got the job done. read more

This place is GREAT!! Our washer tossed a belt so we had to go to laundry mat for first time in 20 years. Clean as can be, everything works and the dryers get hot! They have 60, 45, 40, 35, 30 pound and smaller washers. They also have a few giant dryers to accommodate the large washers. Most of the machines take a card if u don't want to use one of the 2 coin machines. Top notch place for a laundromat. The owner was very polite and offered us a free soda! read more

Traveling on a tour I see a lot of laundromats in a lot of cities and states. No joke this is the best one I have been to. I came here on a Friday night and a couple weeks later on a Saturday afternoon and both times there was only one other family doing their wash. It is very clean and the washers are all new and range in size from regular one loaders to huge mega washers great for washing comfortors. While the dryers are clearly a little older they work great! There's even a clean bathroom! The prices are good there's a little vending machine for soap and what not if you need washing supplies as well as a soda and snack machine. I know it seems silly to review a laundromat but this place deserves the acknowledgement of providing a great clean atmosphere. Bonus this place is 24 hours and there are no tvs. While some might find this a downside it's nice and soothing to just quietly listen to the machines as you read a book. read more

This is probably the best laundromat in the Tri-State area. And I can say that because I have been to quite a few. I actually go out of my way and pass up several other laundromats closer to home simply because this place is so much better than all of the other ones that I have been to. It is clean and everything actually works! They place is decent-sized. I have only had to wait a handful of times for cart to become available to use, but other than that, it doesn't ever get too busy. I usually bring a book to read while I am waiting for my stuff to get done and there have only been a few times were there are crazy, loud kids running around. (This by no means is the owners faut! haha) The prices aren't bad either. The smaller single load washers are $1.75 and the double loads are $2.25 and a quarter will give you 7 minutes on the dryers. The older dryers there work just as good as the newer ones, although I prefer to use the newer ones because there are more of them and its more convenient to keep your clothes in the same area. The owners are super nice too, which is always a plus. Overall, great place! I will continue to come here and drive 15 minutes out of my way to use this laundromat! read more

This laundry is close to home which is a big plus. I come here even though I have my own washer and dryer when I have a ton of comforters to wash like I did today. The place is always clean and they have pretty much what you need. Large washers for a variety of prices, vending machines in case you get hungry from watching your clothes wash and dry, a clean restroom which is always a plus and free wi-fi. I like how there is plenty of parking and I never seem to have an issue finding a washer or dryer. This is a pretty good place to go. read more

Great neighborhood laundromat! It isn't in the nicest area, but all the customers inside were friendly and courteous. The Single Load washers are $2.00 a load (not $1.75 as it says in the information below) and take between 28-34 min depending on which setting you use. The dryers are $.25 for 7 minutes and they work fairly well. The signs are very easy to read and comprehend, and there were plenty of places to sit, watch TV, or use the free Wi-Fi. There is even a nice little ice cream shop next store that customers can go to while they're waiting. I will definitely be back! read more

Clean and efficient, what else could you want in a laundry mat. I'm not one to frequent a laundry mat, but I sought this little gem out on Yelp and I was not disappointed. The machines are great, nice and new. Well maintained. There are various size machines for various prices. We washed 3 loads and dried in and out in about 90 minutes. Free wifi working. Clean bathroom. The large machines for 40 lb load are great for blankets or comforters. More seats and machines that take credit cards would make this place even better. read more

Pros: great location (kinda). They have new and improved everything! The owner is nice and if something happens he will try to fix it. It now has free wifi and vending machines. Cons: drug trafficking is always going in in the front of this place!! Sometimes the washers eat your money. The older dryers burn your clothes. Sometimes the washers don't get your clothes clean all the way. The bathroom is small and gross. There is always rude people coming in. There are always kids running around destroying things! I like this laundromat but lately ever washer I want to use is broken and ever dryer I want to use is broken. It's open 24 hours but you have to come in the middle of the night to wash just to get washer and dryer. They need to do better. read more

I have made the mistake of visiting a few other laundromats due to convenience. I will never make that mistake again. This place is the only place I'll go to do my laundry in the Northern KY area. I discovered this place 6 months ago and thought there was something special about it. I didn't realize how special until other laundromats failed. This place is clean, affordable, it's spacious with lots of seating, has a variety of machines, has change machines (for those times I run out of quarters) and it has wi-fi. One of my favorite things about this place is that there aren't any tv's! I hope it stays that way, it makes the laundromat relaxing and keeps the riff-raff out. read more

Very Clean. Very nice. Newer washers and dryers. Washer takes 24 minutes, dryers are $0.25 for 7 minutes. They have a variety of sizes for the washers and plenty of machines. Not crowded. This laundrymat has machines that consistently do not work and just take your money. I have repeatedly filled out their rapid refund slips, and have never received a dime for a refund. The staff that is onsite are rude and condescending. I have been told by more than one staff member that i would be better off going to a different laundrymat that has working machines. I wish it was not right across the street from my house, if I drove I would be going anywhere else. I have never been to a laundry mat where on average I expect to loose 1/3 of my money. read more

John the owner keeps Speedy Wash in Great shape. He helped me successfully launder a very large and cumbersome boat cover in the largest washer (60 lb'er). The machine worked well and his help and tips were very much appreciated. The Wi-Fi works great also. I was able to rid the cover of mold that taken hold on its underside. Rather than roll his eyes and suggest I take my large and soiled boat cover somewhere else, John was very friendly and helpful. Although I don't go to a laundromat frequently, I'll definitely come back here the next time I do. There would be no reason to go anywhere else! read more
