It is too bad that the billing person, Brittany, does not communicate to patients concerning which insurances are and are not accepted before an appointment occurs. Spoke to her before an appointment about my insurance, and not once did she mention I would be paying for a cleaning since my insurance was out-of-network. Very shady way to keep clients. This was after never receiving a call back when first getting my new insurance, asking for estimates for more dental work I needed to have done in the near future. It is too bad there isn't someone more responsible and forthright when dealing with financial issues. read more

We have been going to Spence Dental for 2 years. I cannot say enough positives about their practice. From the front desk to the dental hygienists to the dentist! Through out the last 18 months they have been professional, courteous and patient. I work rotating shifts. They have been flexible and patient with me when I have been in for an appointment after being up all night! I have never felt that my care was rushed. The quality of their dental hygienists speaks very well of their care standards. Dr Spence is very knowledgeable and patient. What an amazing office! Dr. Spence and his team are hands down THE best! The office is clean and professional. Dr. Spence's dental work is top notch. Our entire family switched to his office about 3 years ago. Very informative, equipment is state of the art, all work needed was discussed prior to scheduling. Brittany, who takes care of insurance and authorizations, is always a friendly face. She is so professional and on top of her game. I've needed a couple procedures requiring an authorization. Each time, she has called me as soon as my authorization was received to review charges determined by my insurance and schedule around my very hectic life. I'm never in the dark of what my costs will be thanks to Brittany! Renee is Dr. Spence's assistant. She is very caring and really takes her time and patience to make you as comfortable as possible during some really uncomfortable dental procedures. Mindy and Cassidy are the sweetest hygienists. They take their time and get to know their patients. They make my dental cleanings a very positive experience. How fortunate to have such a wonderful office and staff in our area!
