TL;DR (kinda) is this - I had the following worries/asks and Jessica Kae Photography delivered: -Partner being nervous for photos -Need for tact with delicate family relationships -I love the detail/getting ready photos -Candid moments throughout the ceremony/reception Honestly, I was incredibly nervous with the thought of finding a photographer because my husband HATES pictures. For every prom/homecoming, picture-taking was alwayssss the biggest dread for him. He hates smiling on command, doesn't like feeling posed, and he doesn't like the feeling of being "forced" to capture a moment (and you didn't hear this from me, but sometimes he really doesn't have the best posed smile lololol). I'm also not much of a "selfie" person with him, so I was becoming nervous too. When reading Jessica's reviews, I saw a few women mention my exact same worry. Those customers said that Jessica has a magic touch, and their husbands didn't feel awkward or forced whatsoever - the pictures turned out beautifully! Based on this, plus a few other factors, I decided to move forward with Jess and Donny. Further details: I currently live in California, but I grew up in Hartville, OH which is about an hourish away from the Youngstown/Canfield area. My high school sweetheart proposed to me in 2019 and we were over the moon. We've always known that no matter where we ended up living, we would get married back home so our families would be able to attend. I started my search and am beyond thankful to have come across Jessica. She and her husband Donny are a dynamic duo! Their energies are so positive and fun, and they genuinely seemed excited for us even though we were meeting for the first time. They were a huge part in making our day flow incredibly smoothly. Each meeting we had left me feeling secure and confident in the plan. The pair are incredibly detailed, great with logistics, and genuinely interested in your love story so they ensure they capture it through the photos. Another important note: both of our parents are divorced, which came with some sensitive relationships to consider. Jess and Donny yet again made us feel relaxed about handling those interactions. They were attentive to our desires, captured all the getting ready details, helped keep everyone on schedule, and seriously were a huge part of the wonderful success of our special, beautiful day. Greg Greg Greg! Absolutely positively one of my favorite…read morephotographers. We've had 2 photo sessions with Greg. The first one was when our then 15 year old lab took a turn for the worst. The vet gave us a few weeks with him. So, my husband wanted to have a photo shoot with our dogs to remember him by. Greg came out to our property in Kirtland. We have a very scared GSD and Greg was so gentle with him, was able to get Mason out of his shell and opened up a little. It was pretty awesome. He was able to get fantastic photos of our dogs and our cats. After the shoot. We took our lab for a third opinion and found out he was going to be fine. Here we are 2 years later and Bubba is about to turn 17. Our second photo shoot with Greg was when we adopted Jack. Our pot bellied pig. Greg loves pigs and pictures of their butts. Lol! We also, got photos of the entire family for our Christmas photos. Again, Greg was excellent with our GSD and was able to get some awesome pictures of him and the rest of our family. I highly highly recommend Greg. He's incredible with animals and he's just an awesome person.

I did an extensive research for our engagement photoshoot, looking for someone who could capture…read morethe natural moments of us rather than posing directly at the camera, and I found Lisa's portfolio to be exactly what I was looking for. Lisa was beyond pleasant to work with. Her personality was also very charming which helped a lot along the way, because we were both amateurs at posing. She brought her assistant for our photoshoot, Paul, who was also as charming. I received my engagement photos in the USB last week and as expected, the pictures were amazing. Our families love them too. It's totally worth it to spend a little bit extra money to get all the photos, especially when the work was excellent and the pictures turn out very beautiful. If our wedding was in town, Lisa West would definitely be our wedding photographer. I highly recommend Lisa for anyone who is looking for a photographer that is personable, professional and "super on-time" with her work. I have heard other photographers that promised you one day, but you wouldn't get your photos until weeks/months later, so be careful with your choice because of course, everyone is excited to see their beautiful photos. I would take pictures of my cats with my phone all the time, but I really wanted a professional to take some pictures and just capture the essence of how cute and meaningful they are to me. Unlike phone pictures, they have a great background, are not blurry, and the pictures capture the entire kittens' bodies. Lisa was so gentle and approachable with the kittens and they took to liking her and playing with her right away. It's so hard to have kittens sit still, but Lisa was able to use a brilliant combination of toys and distractions to get the perfect shots. Lisa also spent a very meaningful and extended time with me to make sure the pictures were perfect during and after the photo-shoot date. Best of all, my kittens grew up so quickly, so I love looking back on those old pictures when they were little
