Also it encourages healthy lifestyle such as walking since there is no parking space for visitors at all. So my suggestion is to park in the Domain area or Argyle Street Carpark, which is about 5-10 minute walking to the building. Actually there are 5 spaces reserved for UTAS medical staffs and more reserved for patients inside the building. If you get to the building from Campbell Street, keep driving into the carpark even though you see three pillars splitting you and the carpark. The pillars will automatically push down so that you can get inside. There is no instruction board to let people know that they can pass through the pillars. So some drivers reversed their cars all the way back to the street, which is difficult since it is a curved and narrow path. Don't do it. Even if you have to get out of the building, still get into the carpark and turn your car there. Anyway, if you are neither a UTAS medical lecturer nor a patient, don't waste time driving into the building. No parking space for you there even if you have a parking permit which covers Hobart CBD.

Great smooth trip with two competent friendly Paremedics named Lara and Josh. Then was taken care of so well by Nurse Deepa and Laura and a doctor. Very busy ED. I missed the doctor's name. They are keeping me overnight and general med doctors are going to check me out tonight in the short term overnight ED ward. They are very busy here but the care is A1. Feel totally taken care of. I hope one day the government gives the RHH the funding it deserves. Heroes

Well, it's the Royal Hobart Hospital. No one is coming here because they want to, and it's the only…read morepublic hospital in Hobart, so I'm a lot of ways it is what it is, and that's that. You'll see some doctors and nurses that are kind, caring and love their job, and some that are rude, dismissive and can't be bothered. But I'm here to write this lukewarm review, and that sure beats the alternative, right?
