It turns out the salesperson misquoted the color, and the wrong one was ordered. Union Furniture will not switch the chair out for them. When my mother showed them the pic on her phone, they claimed they've never had that chair on their salesfloor. I wouldn't give this store a dime of my money. I was looking for a new dryer. They were a little more pricey than at Lowe's. After waiting around for awhile I started to walk out when an employee asked me if I wanted help. We went through the buying process and we set it up to be delivered Monday and to take the old dryer. That employee was the only one on that store at the time Fast forward to Monday. It's 7:30 pm and no one has delivered a dryer to me and no one has called me. I really don't like to have to start acting the crazed customer but I will! The dry came a little after 8 pm. The driver said he was not technically allowed to install dryer but would. I guess that a cya on his part in case it doesn't work. Never the less the dryer is now installed and appears to work. I still doubt I'll use this store again.

Sandy sold my grandmother on a "gold plan" on the furniture we bought, where Sandy claimed the furniture would be delivered and the movers would spray this protective coating on it after they build the set. We returned to the store in November and purchased some other items, and a "bunkie board" to put in between my bed slats and the mattress. They told me the first batch of furniture would be delayed and delivered in late December. December rolls around and my furniture was delayed again to the end of January. I was extremely upset because we initially bought the set in October and it is was now late January and I had no bedroom furniture. Finally my furniture was delivered in late January and they did not spray it when delivered as promised, and the board we payed way too much money for was missing. My grandmother contacted Sandy and she claimed that the furniture was sprayed with the Gold Plan Protection at the factory and she just FORGOT TO ADD THE BOARD. My grandmother had to pay Havertys once again, and then we were told to pick up this board this past weekend, February 7th. Sandy told us that the board folds up and would fit into the back of an suv. My grandmother and I show up to pick up this board, Sandy is not there, and the board does not fold up and will not fit in the car. She lied to us and will not contact us back on the issue. I spoke with other representatives and they said the board will be delivered within a few weeks, but this is extremely disappointing. Yes the furniture is beautiful, but it is extremely overpriced and this whole situation is a headache.

Haverty's was the first furniture store I visited, and I had no idea what I wanted, but I fell in love with the Brigitte set and decided to spring for it after visiting several other stores and deciding that I liked it best. I purchased a queen bed at $899 and the dresser with mirror at $1,299. In addition, I also purchased a platform to put under my mattress for $150. While the bedroom set was a bit on the spendy side, I was able to take advantage of a $100 off each $1,000 promo that they were running. Having owned the furniture for a few months now, I am very happy with it and have received compliments on it. While I have nicked the silver finish on the bottom of the dresser with the vacuum cleaner a couple of times, I've been able to fix it right up with some $3 silver acrylic paint from Target. I dealt with Janice, who I believe is an assistant manager, and she was helpful and not super pushy when making the sale. The delivery charge was a bit more than some other places in town, but they did show up in good shape within the stated time window. The delivery guy I had was also slightly unprofessional, asking me whether I'd be willing to provide football tickets in a serious way upon learning that I work for UA. Overall, I had a decent experience with Haverty's and would purchase from them again. I love my bedroom set and expect that it will provide many years of use and happiness--at least, as long as I am still single and there's no man in my life to deride its ultra-femininity. :-)

I've called customer service and they scheduled service for this past Monday, never showed up and left a message and said that they didn't have the parts, after previously speaking to Bret whom told me that they did have parts. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a company. The bed is not comfortable and has given me the worst back pain I've ever had in my life. This is such a scam!
