We provided DNS/web and this client has an internal email server. They started by telling the client they had to move it all to Hostgator, downgrade groupware server to POP3 mail and lose shared calendars with scheduling, without even looking at what they had much less consulting with us. "Oh, they have email already?" They resell them a Hostgator account set up in a way that HG assumed DNS/web/email was all hosted there and it took a month for them to figure out why the "Contact Us" form would not work, after we repeatedly told them they had their own email server and to remove DNS from HG. Things only deteriorated from here as Thomas argued with me using terms I've never heard of in my 20 years in IT. I would Google phrases he was using to verify he was making things up, and when I talked to him on the phone I think he genuinely believed he knew what he was talking about! Two months later our client was grumbling they still haven't finished the site, something about Thomas having personal family problems. But I will admit the artistic quality of his work was high. The bottom line, best to avoid them with so many web developers out there. But if you do use this company be sure to have your IT support involved if you have an existing domain/email.

I saw virtually nothing for my money for 8 weeks even though he estimated the project would take 3 weeks (which I thought was unrealistic). Finally there was a prototype main page that looked like it was designed by a beginner. I listed the problems with the look of the site and its inadequate functionality. Don said he would address each concern individually in the coming week. I never heard back from him again. I phoned, texted & emailed at least 10 times. He texted me once to say he's on the phone and please text him. I did so but no reply. I don't know for a fact that he is in SF. I think his SF address in the Inner Richmond may be a fake address. I never met him in person. I hired him because he said he was local. As of now he has wasted four and a half months of development time and ripped me off for $400.00
