What an interesting store in mizner park. Walked in and we were greeted immediately. Several employees walking around the store. The store is broken up into sections. Whiskey, tequila, cream drinks, oils etc. We walked around the store and when asked they would give you a taste sample. What a wonderful concept before you purchase a bottle. My husband ended up buying a bottle of tequila. So many wonderful gift ideas as well. It's a must to visit. read more

Now one of my favorite stores in Mizner Park. The sign out front said Boca Raton spouse drop off which I thought was hilarious. Love the interactive concept with the customer picks out their spirit of choice from one of the barrels or a snifter and a personal guide pours you a sample and explains its contents. My favorite liquor was the peanut whiskey. My friend bought a bottle of tequila. The store had some great flavors and lots of liquor related gift items. read more

I always thought this was just another liquor store, but wow was I wrong. Walking in feels like stepping into a quaint little distillery, with rows of barrels and apothecary-style bottles begging to be explored. The soft, warm lighting is easy on the eyes and makes you want to linger and check out everything on the shelves. It's a full-on craft liquor paradise, with house-made spirits, quality ingredients, and smart twists on the classics. Tom, the resident spirit sage, casually mentioned they can engrave bottles for personalized gifts, which is clutch for the holidays. And the best part: everything is sampleable, so when in doubt, you can taste your way into the right decision. Smooth, fun, and honestly kind of dangerous for my gift list and my bar cart. This is a great place to find something special for yourself or for a friend. The store has great choices of spirits, spice blends, amazing oils, vinegars and wine....the staff was very polite, knowledgeable and patient. Great store with unique selection! They have everything from unique specialty whiskey, bourbon, gin, tequila, wine, and even olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can taste pretty much anything. We got a thick, rich modena balsamic vinegar aged 18 years that is exceptional. They have such unique finds. The hubby got a unique Florida whiskey made with black Rye only grown in FL. They pour the olive oils and vinegar freshly for you and wax the bottle cap right there. Customer service is extremely knowledgeable and passionate, purists at heart, so they might be off-putting to some, but we appreciated the lessons. read more

The store is on the expensive side, but it tells you a lot about a store that every time you visit you walk out with an item. They have a really unique take on a liquor store and offer things that you wont find pretty much anywhere else. If you like cocktails or whiskey or fine wine you are in the right place. Their staff seems to also have a good take on what is in the store and can tell you a lot about each item per se. Will return again, and will likely purchase again. read more

This is such a beautiful store! I've been in twice while at Mizner Park, and it's impossible to leave empty handed. Imagine walls of flavored vinegars, olive oils, hand-picked imported Scotches, and beautifully made liqueurs of incredible flavors! The cream liqueurs are amazing -- if you like Bailey's wait until you get a load of these unique flavors. Butterscotch, dark chocolate, Dreamsicle, and Key Lime are the ones I remember. You're allowed a tiny taste, and the colors in the glass bottles make them even more delightful as they are SO pretty. Talk about a great hostess gift! They also sell wine. The oils and vinegars are also available for samples, and, Wow! The employees are very helpful and can suggest which ones you may want based on your tastes or on a certain recipe or menu theme. Whiskey and Scotch aren't my thing, but I'm sure their offerings are great for those in the know, as they choose them bottle by bottle. Another fantastic gift for a host/hostess. It's a really lovely store. I only wish they had cubes of bread for the multiple olive oils and vinegars, but then no one would ever leave! read more

I purchased a few bottles of their "BOUTIQUEY" flavored liqueur products to try. I thought they tasted just OK... However, they were expensive at $34.00 EA for a 3ML bottle which is about a "NIP-SIZE". These were packaged in fancy bottles. The cost came to about $13- per ounce when converted from ML to OZ. I could have bought larger bottles or quantities of alternatives like Baileys, Kahlua or the like to add to my coffee for a similar taste with more of a kick. Ah, now this store might be the best find since we moved here a year ago!! When we walked in, we were impressed with the with the open floor plan and the plan and the products creatively displayed along the wall. We were warmly greeted by a sophisticated-looking gentleman. He showed us the selection of olive oils, told us about the features of the ones that interested us, and gave us little samples to try. He put the chosen oils in uniquely shaped bottles and sealed them with, what we think is, paraffin wax. He sold us dispensers for the bottles. The dispensers are unique and are specifically designed to fit the bottles. We were totally impressed with our experience at Spirits & Spice and look forward to going back, this time bringing friends with us! read more

Went in to just browse a couple of sweet red wines, ended up leaving the store with a Dornfelder sweet red. If you want to switch over to bolder red wines and get away from the super sweet wines I would highly recommend. Thank you Larry for expanding my pallet. read more
