This is a cute store in a very cute historic walkable part of town near some shops and restaurants with free parking. We came inside bc my friend and I love to find unique crystals - they have some lovely ones here in great quality and shape and size and a large and vast selection. I found some unique pieces I actually haven't seen anywhere else. A bit pricey but perhaps they're super rare (think $500). No one spoke to us while inside at all - or came out from the back. It left us to browse in peace but also felt weird since we sort'of saw them but never interacted during the 10 or so minutes we were inside walking around. I was greeted by two very sweet shop cats, which I think is an excellent way to begin a store visit. Fun things to see, interesting variety, plenty of books, lots of tarot decks. Good prices on meditation candles and witchy bumper stickers (look up near the ceiling to see them all, and they are located in a box near the register to pick out your favorites). Store is well-lit, owner is friendly. This doesn't have the super chill vibe that some other metaphysical shops have but it's nice and I would totally go back, especially for the candles. read more

First of all, there wasn't a shop cat the last time I visited so that alone warrants a star increase. Cats and magical goods? Match made in heaven. Apparently there's actually a couple of shop cats, but we only saw the ginger today. What a mellow little sweetie. Also, the shop had a warmer vibe than my first visit, and not just because of the feline greeter (she was, after all, snoozing in a beam of sunlight). While some prices seem a bit high, the crystal spheres are actually less expensive. Had I not settled on a rose quartz heart elsewhere that nicely fits in the palm of my hand, I might have gotten a sphere here that was between 2 and 3 inches in diameter and a reasonable $99 relative to higher prices I'd been quoted elsewhere. What I really want now is the clear quartz sphere with natural 'flaws' producing beautiful rainbows, but I'll need to come back later, and hope there's one in stock. Also reasonably priced, but not in the budget. I had a little more sticker shock at a small obsidian cat so you still want to do your research, but this shop is a must visit, especially now that even more fun stores filling different niches have joined the block since my last visit. read more

So I use to go to the store when I lived in New York, I'm up on a work trip and decided to stop in. I bought a ring from them it was a peridot tear drop shaped ring the gem fell out three months later. I gave it another shot and bought a garnet tear drop ring (Saturday today's Tuesday) and the game stone is already loose. I messaged them on Facebook and asked to return and she said they could look up the purchase and I said I'd be in the next day (that was on Monday when I noticed the default). Oh btw it was $80. No one mentioned when I bought it that they couldn't return jewelry nor did anyone mention that on Facebook when I talked to someone. I went in today and the lady said all I can do is exchange or store credit. She also offered to me just to glue it. I shouldn't need to glue it, it should be fine no issues. I was in your store, July 6, 2023, with my family from Las Vegas that collects crystals, we spent over $100 there, I bought a bracelet with a third eye, it was 14.95, exactly one week later, it started to unravel, never got wet, took it off every night, again one week later, I went back to the store, and just asked the lady for an exchange, I was answered with we don't exchange or refund anyone on jewelry, I then asked the store clerk if I could have the companies name that makes the jewelry I will email them myself she went back and looked, and came back with, I have no idea who the company is? what kind of business are they running? What a cool place. On Webster in North Tonawanda I came across this store. Only because I parked in front of it, and it was open on a Sunday afternoon. I came in because I liked the name. I wasn't sure what to expect going in. I was greeted by a beautiful large orangish cat. And then there was a cage with a number of kittens, who were exhausted, sleeping off their morning activities. They are up for adoption. All black. And sooooo cute. Walking further in and past the furry ones I found a store with a little of everything. All religions covered the owner (I assume) told me. That was clear. Tarot cards. Nice small carved animals. Jewelry. Marvels. Various gems. Books. Candles. Various scent delivery devises. More. So much more. They offer classes often in a variety of areas. The have massage and Thai massage on site. Im guessing more. So cool. read more

I have come to rename Spiritually Rooted "my happy place". I was so pleased on my first visit to find that their selection is HUGE. I have since been back multiple times and always find something new. They have everything you could possibly be looking for; candles, sage, herbs, bath soaks, jewelry, rocks/crystals, tarot cards, incense, etc. The staff is always extremely helpful, they've always made me feel really comfortable while shopping and never mind when you ask them questions. Apparently they've heard it all so don't be scared if you think you have a "silly question". There are two shop rescue kitties, Chimi and Mia. They are friendly and adorable and will accept all the pets. Most of the time when I stop in they have other cats that are looking for their forever home. On my last visit there were none so I'm happy to see that these babies are being adopted. read more

This is a nice little store. You walk in and the over all feeling is quite peaceful, plus the first things you see are cats! I love shops with free roaming cats. It satisfies my constant need to pet fuzzy critters. Right now, they also have kittens up for adoption. Not sure if that's always a thing, but oooooo so cute! This is what I consider to be one of the best places in the Northtowns for buying cards and other spiritual fare. Their prices can be high though, so do your research of something seems overpriced. The staff can be mixed. Some are really nice, and others are a bit brusque. That's not my favorite feeling, to be in the company of bad vibes while I'm buying sage or other accoutrements to clear the negative energies, if ya' know what I mean... But I LOVE the shop kitties here. Mia specifically is a sweet fuzzy angel kitty and I love interacting with her when I visit. I love the atmosphere & especially the cats. This crystal shop is very close to where I live I just wish their crystals weren't sooooo overpriced. I will go there to get other things I need but I sadly can't buy any crystals because it's seriously overpriced. I shop at a lot of small businesses online that are verified ethically & consciously sourced high quality crystals. For example I can buy AAA quality all natural citrine chunky 3inch tower from Brazil for $30 from one of those shops, at this place sadly it's atleast 3x the price & it doesn't tell you where it's from or the exact quality. I just bought a 2.5lb rose quartz tower for $150 9inchs tall from one of my favorite shops, i can't recall the exact price at spiritually rooted but they had one very similar to size & I know it was at least $400-$600. It's really disappointing because I'd love to have a crystal shop to actually go to & buy from but I can't reasonably buy crystals here as they are EXTREMELY overpriced & it's so disappointing& really gives off a bad vibe. Some people aren't educated & don't know that these crystals shouldn't be this expensive & their basically getting robbed :( read more

I went on the 22nd and had a psychic reading with Tara. 1 of 3 specific questions I asked her was "Will I be approved for housing". And she said YES and pulled some tarot cards and they were all positive and a resounding YES. However, on the 24th I received my rejection letter from the housing department which was dated on the 21st. Looks like Psychic Tara is a fraud and not a real Psychic. All her credentials could have been doctored. First thing I did was ask the store owner for a refund and she completely refused and wouldn't help at all and kept talking in circles. She's obviously in on the fraud too. That's $80 down the toilet that I paid for 30 minutes. Many doctors and nurses don't even get paid that much and they provide a legitimate service. I could have spent that $80 on a massage and that would have paid for the tip and everything and that would have been a legitimate service. What this store is doing is fraud. It's highway robbery. They are preying on people who are the most vulnerable. It's a complete scam. And they make you pay the $80 up front before the work is completed. Not even Buffalo's most skilled contractors make you pay cash up front before they replace your roof. This store is making a killing by defrauding hundreds of unsuspecting customers. There was a ton of inventory and lots to look at but the prices were not okay. One stick of incense was $3.50, a local business in my hometown sells the same brand for 4 sticks for $1. Also white sage is sold there along with palo santo which are part of a closed practice and sacred to indigenous people which shouldn't be sold to just anyone. I would recommend to see what they have, but be warned it's pricey for crystals you can buy from small businesses on Etsy for far less. read more

My review is based purely on customer service, which I think could use some work... There was a cage full of kittens right when we walked in. I knelt down in front of the cage to get a closer look at the cuteness and held my hand up to the cage without getting too close because there were several very large, very obnoxious signs that read "please pet us with your eyes". The woman working the shop immediately began shouting at me all the way from the back of the store in a condescending manner: "don't pet the kittens, I have a sign up that says to pet with your eyes!". I informed her that I wasn't touching the kittens and that I actually possess the magical ability to read. Being verbally accosted upon entry of a store that I would probably otherwise like was not my idea of good, or even mentally stable, customer service. I'll just buy my incense online. The only reason I'm 1 starring is because I've been a loyal customer for years. I started going there since I was a very young teen. I am now 20, And the experience has gone down hill in the past two years or so. I want to continue to support her business but I no longer can go in there without feeling hopeless for her "cause". I understand inflation and the popularity of this kind of business. I've been into all kinds of spiritual paths and concepts and gemstones/crystals since I could read. BUT her prices and her attitude when she happens to be there when I am show me that sadly it's about the money. I know, and know lots of people who have dedicated their lives to specimens and they can confirm her prices are absolutely not reasonable whether she buys in bulk, finds them herself, etc. That's not what spirituality is supposed to be. It's supposed to be welcoming and giving and about being open to new conversations and communication. To me it seems the employees are almost quiet because they have services and talks therefore they want to charge for anything that involves talking or advice. I don't think I can further more go there and support it as much as I miss the atmosphere it was. read more
