My husband and I are frankly appalled at some things about this place and while they have a lot of fans of it, I have heard of many who don't care for it and let me explain why. First, let's talk some positives. The waitresses are friendly and the food is quite good. However, receiving your food is often a slow process as they need more kitchen help apparently. But still you can get a good meal.
Second good thing is they do have some fun activities like Darts, Pools, and sometimes have bands most of which are really good. And maybe all of that is enough for you.
But! This place is very cliquish. If they don't know you, you may not enjoy it for me. Two, the owner seems like a nice enough lady but she is constantly using profanity, justifying, including the F bomb, and other choice words. I understand we all let a word out here or there but it is constant and that is unprofessional. My husband and I many months ago went to hear a band out of Memphis and she proceeded to multiple times get on the mike and let out a slew of profanities including using God's name in vain and then proceeded to demand everyone stand and sing Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA. Okay, that would be cool but you take God's name in vain, you let off several F Bombs and then after the song is over let them fly again. Huh?
And they claim everyone is welcome. That is completely not true as this isn't a bar it is a political rally. My husband and I are independents and we thought we might get mauled in there. Once again the owner will get on the mic with a constant political agenda. That is not professional. Maybe independents like my family is or yes even Democrats may want to come in and eat or see a band. Trust me you are not welcome and will not feel welcome. I don't care what someone's political agenda is you do not run a business that way. They may as well put out a sign if you are not an Extreme Right Republican do not enter the hallowed halls (And after seeing all the details about the Insurrection the other night, how can anyone defend either party these days by I digress). My husband and I believe any business that has a political agenda is unprofessional and should be avoided as much as possible.
A bar and grill should be an escape from the real world. This one is clearly not. No thank you. read more
