I have been visiting this resort for over 15 with small children. Even though the small children turned into teenagers we still visit splash every year. The water.park on the first floor made our trips worth every penny. No sunblock needed, ankle deep water, slides, open late for that "end of the night" play time before bed and did I mention ..no need for sunblock?! The lazy river is perfect to just go around and around, even though sometimes it's crowded and no tubes available. Now that some of my kids drive and meet us on vacation, it's like home. Everyone knows the place. Splash is very worth the money if you have small kids, not really worth the money if you don't need the Waterpark. read more

The splash pad smells like mold. The drains are clogged. The management changed the age of the hot tub to 12 in the middle of our stay after kids have been allowed in it for years. Now they are paying 2 workers to tell kids all day that they can't go in the hot tub which is located in the kids area at a kids resort. Make it make sense. I would like to start by saying, my family and I stayed at Splash 18 years ago when it was only 2 years old. Fast foward to June 2026, the property as a whole is certainly showing it's age. For the most part, poor maintenance can be observed everywhere throughout the property, but it is 20 years old. We have stayed in older properties that look new compared to this one. Let's talk about the condo we rented. First off, we actually rented one condo but ended up with another, kinda wild if you ask me (DO NOT USE AVARI TO BOOK YOUR CONDO, if you choose to stay here). We ended up with unit 803E. We booked a 2 bed/2 bath, what we stayed in was a 1 bed/2 bath. 803E was absolutely the worst condo we have ever stayed in, no exaggeration! When we walked in there was a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke and sweaty feet. We turned fans and AC on and it helped eliminate most of the odor. Let me say, I am not expecting this place to look like my house but I do not expect there to be missing paint on the wall as you walk in, a dresser somewhat misplaced at the entrance, and furniture that looks like they pulled it our of the dumpster. ALL of the furniture looks beaten, scratched and mismatched (not a huge deal but not a good first impression). What is a big deal to me, is the excessive amount of stains on ALL of the furniture. I had to wash the sheets on the bunkbeds because we found fresh BLOOD on the sheets. Hope you have worked out really well before you arrive because you will need all the upper strength you got to open and close the sliding door that leads out to the balcony. This property was opened in 2006 and this condo looks like it, I would call it a dump but I have seen dumps that are nicer than this place. The best part, in the one bedroom, they had "thrown" things in there, you know like paint cans, a fan, ironing board and broken iron, and vacuum cleaner, leaving no place to store luggage in this already small condo. The bathroom door leading into the bathroom in the one bedroom is a pocket door, it too is hard to open and close (I actually got locked in once because the lock is a little faulty, after a few minutes I was able to get it open....don't lock the door and if you do make sure you have a cellphone with you). I almost forgot the best part...there was chemicals left under the kitchen sink, in a spray bottle, and we had a 4 year old with us. Not worry, I removed them and placed them on top of the refrigerator. If you decided to rent this condo, bring your pots, pans, baking sheets (we had to go and buy our own baking sheets) because what they do have is either not enough or you might think about putting them in the rust filled dishwasher to sanitize them. We did choose to sanitize and then wash them by hand when they came out of the dishwasher. Overall, if you are wanting to stay in the PCB area avoid this property, low to no maintenance and Unit 803E is not a place you want to stay. We stayed a week at Splash Reosrt and vowed to never return. This stay was a total let down. Our condos had black mold in the bath tubs. The shower curtains were also moldy. Called maintenance and they never even showed up. We stayed in 1503W and the decor was dated and cheap. In fact, we had bought ice cream and had to eat with plastic spoons because the cutlery in the condo was Dollar Tree metal and the spoons were cutting our mouths. The resort itself is neededing repairs that are unsightly, missing tiles, dingy carpet, etc. The worst part were the elevators! 2 elevators per towers and they have 19 floors. It was a hassle to say the least. We let feeling like we had been ripped off. Look elsewhere! This resort is not worth the money at all. read more

Our room and view was beautiful, but the elevator was quite slow and very hot. Also the staff was not very pleasant. I saw a ground/maintenance type employee berate a group of teens just for barely touching a rope fence, ridiculous. We were also asked to move our sun shade from in front of the rental lounge chairs and told umbrellas are fine even though our shade obstructed much less view, so had to go buy umbrellas and sand stakes. The chair rental company employees were very rude as well. The lack of a ramp (only 2flights of stairs) was also a hassle with a beach wagon. Will not be back. Too many places with courteous staff and good access to stay here again. read more

Rented a condo here- never again! This place is a mess and no one is cleaning or controlling "condo" areas. It's on public access so people just use pool,bathrooms and hot tub areas that aren't owners or renters. Door code wouldn't work on day one. Finally got in and on day three it apparently has a short and will not work unless you hold it down till your finger hurts. Mold in the second bathroom around the tub. Definitely needs updating for what we paid for a 5 night stay. Southern Vacation rentals was very polite on the phone and tried to help the best they could. I will definitely never stay here again. Slow elevators...when they worked at all. pull out bed was filthy..had to be cleaned before use. This room has so much potential but it fell short for us on so many levels. I have never left a review of a room at Panama City Beach because for the most part I can deal with little things that go wrong. I am afraid to leave again tonight as I might not be able to get into our room again. Locksmith coming in the morning ‍ Refrigerator was definitely very loud and disturbing at night. So, we are 5 days into our 7 day stay here. I'm typically not one to post reviews until AFTER something has occurred, but I'm a bit frustrated. If you're looking for a true "resort," This place is not for you. It's a glorified condo with a condo association and a separate entity that handles booking us tourists as if it were a hotel. Shame on us for not doing much of our own research before booking. Although, this was booked on a whim by a family member, again with little effort put into the facility. With that said, how do you turn down lodging when someone else is footing the tab? We are in unit 601E. It's a corner unit with three balconies. The main balcony is amazing and the views are unmatched. The room itself boasts three separate bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen and eating area / living room with recliners and a pull out sofa. I really don't have any complaints about the room (condo). Little bit of mold in the shower, but my shower at home has that too. Now I'm just nitpicking. Overall, the resort has an odd vibe. The class of people span the spectrum. It's hard to tell who are owners and who are tourists. Not that the "class" matters much as far as the stay goes, but it makes for a weird feeling. Regarding this place calling itself a "resort;" yeah, that's a joke. There is a fitness room, an arcade and a puny gift shop that is typically closed. There are several pools, which are overcrowded with screaming kids, a hot tub that's over crowded with screaming kids and a "water park" that's over crowded, with you guessed it, screaming kids. There are no lifeguards in sight, so if a screaming toddler poops in the kid area, no one would know. There is one bar here called Riptide. They offer basic bar food including burgers, fries, nachos, chicken tenders, etc. To call it a "bar" is even a stretch. They offer beer, both cans and LIMITED taps. Their "liquor" is wine-based. Meaning, your vodka, gin, whiskey, etc is all actually wine, made to taste like it's respective alcohol. We stocked up on our own Tito's and mixers. Cheaper anyway, but sometimes you don't want to have to make your own cocktails. Want breakfast? Well, you'll have to go down the street to a breakfast place or the grocery store and get your own eggs and toast to make. Vacations where you need to cook for yourself are not "vacations" in my book... It's important to note that Riptide is NOT part of Splash. It's an independent company that "leases" the bar space. I'm told maybe one day they'll get real booze. The common areas of the building are tattered in places. Patched drywall, broken wall corners, dripping air vents are all staples of Splash. The drains by the pool areas back up leaving a Luke warm murky water ponds of god knows what. There isn't really a "front desk." No concierge, no room service, nothing. You need something from Panhadle Getaways? Get there before 5. So overall, the condo owner gets an A- from me. For a little dust in places and the mold in the showers. Not a deal breaker. The resort / Panhandle Getaways? You get a D+. Minimal amenities, an ice machine that stole my 4 bucks and never produced ice, dilapidated building materials, a lack of security and general overall filth contribute to this rating. If it wasn't for this view and the fact that someone else paid for it, I'd have moved to a real resort before laying my head down the first night or ordering my first wine- based vodka tonic. read more

we stayed in 106 west condo at splash beach... maintenance was horrible . our air conditioning wasnt working well., it stayed at about 75 for the first 2 days and nights. then the last 2 days it made it to 74 during the day and 73 at night. it was very uncomfortable to sleep the ceiling fan in the bedroom would only go on one speed and the lights did not work on it. the last day after continuous calling the brought 2 small box floor fans. one was filthy . My family has stayed here twice over the years. It's a beautiful property with lots of activities for the kids. We love the lazy river and huge splash pad. The rooms are nice and typically well furnished. The most recent one we stayed in could use a few minor repairs but was still great. Pros: several pools, a lazy river, toddler splash pad and big kid splash pad. Ocean front. Plenty of parking. Poolside bar. Fitness center. Friendly staff. WiFi Cons: elevators can be slow and may back up around busy times like check in and check out. WiFi can be slow. On-site arcade needs work. Many games didn't seem to work. read more

The view is spectacular from these condos, but the experience with the manager has been less than stellar. Manager is unnecessarily mean to guests. My guess is that he takes his anger out on the guests because he's angry with himself for having made such little out of himself in life. What a hater. Unfortunately the "maintenance" crew can just unlock the condo door whenever they like and come in to "fix things". Doesn't matter if you're in the toilet or not, these maintenance men just walk right in your condo. They have keys to every unit. So beware. You think the door is locked, but it's not. Don't walk around naked. These strange men just come right in. Not to mention this poses a security problem with the maintenance men stealing our belongings from the condo when we leave. We take everything expensive with us when we leave. I never felt completely comfortable here after I found this out the hard way. read more

The rooms throughout the resort are owned by different people, so one room could be very dated & others could be completely remodeled. We stayed in a room booked through Airbnb that was on the 5th floor. The resort itself is pretty dated & in need of some good cleaning/repairs. Several of the poolside chairs are partially broken, the community grill area doesn't look all that great, there are 2 elevators, but they are slow. One was broken the 1st day we arrived & then later in our stay both elevators were stuck. Waited 30+ minutes with bags of stuff & a baby with a stroller & then just took the stairs. The air vents in the hallway need cleaned badly! There was tons of what looked like dryer vent fuzz clogging up the vent & falling out onto the floor. The beach is nice, several shallow parts in the ocean, which is nice for little kids. They offer rental chairs/umbrellas, unsure of the price. There is a gift shop across the street, Alvin's, that gives you a small discount for staying here. Not sure if the cleaning crew is the same throughout the entire building or not, but our room was very dirty, almost like they came in, started cleaning, did the major stuff, then got distracted & left without finishing. Each unit at Splash is individually owned AND operated. I manage my own unit and keep everything clean and working. Majority of the owners at Splash do not use the onsite management company, Sterling. When you rent from Sterling you are not guaranteed which room you will get. However, when you rent directly from an owner then what you see is what you get. I suggest renting direct from an owner via VRBO so you know exactly the unit you are getting and can read reviews specific to that unit. The elevators are really only an issue on Saturdays in late May until mid-August during check in and check out when everyone is trying to use them at the same time with the huge carts. Just got back from a little getaway. We stayed in west 105. Nice 1 bedroom unit with nice amenities. Top notch outdoor furniture on the deck with comfy pillows. Beach chairs we included which was a plus! The resort is in nice condition. First time we had to park across the street and walk over. Not having a drop off area for a family of 5 was a bummer. Wait on the elevators was crazy. Thank goodness we were close to the bottom and could use the stairs. Kids loved the pool/pool area. read more

For the price,it was a nice place to stay. The condo was a perfect size for the three adults, two teenagers and two small boys. There was a kitchen, living room with a sleeper sofa , two bedrooms with walk in closets, a third room bunk beds. and two full bathrooms. The kitchen was complete with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. There were plenty of places close by for grocery shopping. They supplied dish soap and trash bags to get started but if you stay for the week, you'll want to bring your own so you don't have to get more. The linens and towels were supplied. It is equipped with a washer and dryer to wash you clothes and towels. Keep in mind that it is a condo not a hotel, so you don't just ask for more towels. But at $159 per night, it is nicer than expected. We went for spring break. An ideal place for families. It was right on the beach. The balcony over looks the beach, and was my favorite place to be when not on the beach. This was a great place to stay and I would like to go again. read more

We booked via VRBO app. Booking was easy. A day before your expected arrival you are given a code for the door. This code will work during your planned stay. No forgetting room keys, the keypad on the door is awesome! Room 605E was perfect for our group. One master bedroom and a bunk in the hall. Additionally a very comfy sofa in the living room. There is very little hot water. Enough for two quick showers. The kids loved this place. This is somewhere you go with family/young children. The poolside bar serves up drinks and some grill food. Our room came with beach chair rental which was extremely nice to have. It also came with Netflix, Disney +, and so on for the TV. This was also extremely nice to have for the little ones. Yes I definitely recommend. Tip: I would elect to get a room on level 1-2 if possible because elevators were chaos with 5-10 min waits over the weekend. Had a great time but due to the security guard "Murray" we will not be back. We left today and was taking pictures when he came over to our family and started talking to us about how stupid we were because we were outside in the pool area. There was a sign that said pool closed not that the patio was closed. So we were taking a family photo out there. He came up and asked us if we "ate tide pods". I remained calm and said excuse me. He continued to literally run his mouth and told me "if you're feeling groggy then leap boy". During all of this I had my 2 children wife and parents with us. He told me he can't throw the first punch but he will make sure to throw the last. I told him to clock out and take his uniform off if he had such a problem. Then I asked who his supervisor was he told me to fuck off and don't worry about it. So for the unknown number of times I asked what his problem was and his only response was if you're feeling like getting your groggy then leap. He then follows us down by the beach where we continued our family pictures and he kept staring at us making hand gestures. The place itself was amazing and the crew that worked on the beach was amazing but the security is a huge jerk and has no business working around people. He said there was nobody in this area that could take him and I'd better not try cause he has taken the outlaws mc and other motorcycle clubs down single handedly. Not sure what that has to do with me because I'm not anything to do with motorcycle clubs nor did I have a motorcycle there. So beware of the tough guy security guard that's looking to fight people. Splash resort itself is perfect if you have young children. All of the pools were clean and 6 year old loved the splash pad with the slides and water bucket. Nice that the pools are about 75% covered so don't have to worry so much about sunburn and it's cool for parents to sit and supervise. The bar and grill is over priced but 6 year old did like their pizza. Check in and parking pass staff are rude and not helpful at all. Housekeeping is slow and does a poor job. Maintenance crew was quick to respond, courteous, and fixed all issues. Kudos to them. We rented through Panhandle getaways. Our unit (1103 w) had a ton of issues. Panhandle was not very easy to work with and even refused to replace broken metal chairs on the patio. Derek - head of housekeeping- was extremely rude and unwilling to help. Needs alot of tlc. Broken appliances, dirty furniture, rust and mold are what I encountered in room 1702E. The ceiling fans had broken chains so there is no way to adjust the speed. No fire alarm. No sink drain in the kitchen or tub. Rusted shower curtain rods. Dishwasher didn't work. Refrigerator barely keeps things cold. Stove takes forever to heat up. The couch and coffee table are filthy. There is a large overflow water basin next to the property. It spills dark green sludge into the ocean right in front of the property. The location is ok but you will need your car to get to the restaurants. Don't be fooled by the name..this place is not a resort. read more

We arrived around 4pm. Pam, at front desk was very helpful. Our room was being cleaned, so we went to eat and got right in when we came back. Room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The pools and water park were a nice bonus. Plenty of parking. Yes, there are only 2 elevators, but we never really waited over 5 mins for one. The resort is huge, so tons of people-we had to walk a good way down the beach to be able to put up our tent. Other than that, everything was great! Very pleased! read more

We decided to stray from our usual stay at the Phoenix condos in Orange Beach AL and give Splash a try.... I could cry over that decision now. Our Condo is nice, the Owners we rented from ( Vrbo) are nice ( lots of rules about the Air Conditioning....and we are here during a heat wave). The options for kids, as far as pools, are wonderful, but it all stops there......the staff here is just plain RUDE at all times and in all ways. It started with using the luggage carts.... you have to surrender your ID( drivers license, etc) to use the carts, you get your id back when you bring the cart back......that is IF you bring it back before the " cart hostess" shift is over..... we barely got our cart back before she clocked out.....when I asked her what would happen if we didn't get back before she got off work , where could we pick up our id's.... we were told we wouldn't be able to get them until the next day!!!!! That is so ridiculous.....when you would need your license to drive. The security has been extremely rude to parents playing in the kiddie pool with their kids..... there are a million rules posted everywhere.....the fun is completely sucked out of your day by the staff. The overall feeling is very unwelcoming, the millions of cameras make it feel as though they are constantly monitoring your every move...... basically treating everyone with the utmost disrespect.....didn't know I was paying all this money to be treated like offender. Obviously they don't want people staying here.....so don't. I'm not even going to get into the 1/2 mile long line waiting to get an elevator on check in day.....the other reviews have that covered! We rented a 1.5BR/2BA condo here off of www.vrbo.com and had a wonderful time. Great for kids! There's a small "water park" area with slides, spray guns, and a huge tipping water bucket that makes the kids crazy happy when it fills up and spills over. There are also onsite kids activities. For a small fee ($5-7) kids could get glitter tatoos or make a shark tooth necklace. Several pools including a lazy river. Just wish the lazy river was larger. Too many rugrats get in there and bog it up. I agree with another reviwer that it's also a pain when you are "camped out" at one pool and your kids want to go play in another area. You have to either move and hope you can find a chair, so send your husband to go play with them :) Covered parking is nice so your car doesn't bake in the sun, but it's a pain in the neck to load/unload baggage, groceries, etc... Alvin's Island surf shop virtually onsite for all your tourist needs. Pool bar - not the swim-up variety, but it's there nonetheless. We were there in late September and it was only open from 11am-3pm. We found ourselves wishing they were open until at least 6pm. Pina Colada sunset would have been nice. Location is far west PC beach, so you have to drive quite a bit to most of the restaurants and the Thomas Drive area. But it's also nice to not be in the wild and crazy part of PC Beach, especially when you've got kids. Would defintely stay here again! read more

I could not wait to write this review. First if you use any resort company, you are getting ripped off and charged nearly twice the typical going rate. When we arrived their were people in our unit. It turned out to be the maintenance crew fixing something in the bathroom. It made it strange to unpack or relax until they finally left. On our 1st trip to the beach at 7am my wife's shoes were stollen by 7:30am. It is a private beach so it was an owner or guest. Our coffee maker was missing the basket to place the filters in. On the upside they brought us a new coffee maker. On the downside they brought the coffee maker while we were gone and simply helped themselves into the room. It is an unsettling feeling to know they can come and go in and out of your room as they please. No toilet paper, one garbage bag for the week, stains throughout the carpet, toilet leaks out the back, dryer in unit takes hours to work, pigeons crapped on everything on deck, shower curtain falls down every time you shower, 1/2 of the elevators are in operation for them to save money, they have people write fake reviews, the internet is provided by whichever resident actually plugs in their routers (ps you wont have one in your unit), neither of the splash pads worked upon arrival (this was fixed on the last day of our stay). If you think you will need something, bring it because it will not be here for you. They force you to wear bracelets to let the world know you are a tourist and therefore can market to you constantly. Security will hassle you throughout your trip if they cant see the wrist bands, so no long sweaters please. Finally they clog the entire beach with "pay to sit" chairs. I would say less than 10% were ever in use. Dont bring your own as there isn't room on the beach. When you can find a break in the chair placements you are welcomed with cigarette butts, bottle caps, trash, and the occasional condom. I freely share my email if you would like to discuss. Great place to stay with littles! Two kids under 4 and they both loved it! There is a small splash pad for kids just walking that we loved and a larger splash area with three "beginner" slides that my three year old would not get off. We enjoyed the lazy river and also how everything was located in one area with gates around each. Getting to the beach was also very quick and convenient. Our room had everything we needed for cooking and the washer/dryer combo in the room was an added bonus. All staff was very friendly. The only downfall was only 2 elevators per side of resort, but as little as we used elevators during the day, it didn't affect us much. Room East 1803 was great! read more

I gave them 2 stars and here is my review: We stayed at splash resort in room 307 from June 30, 2018 and checked out on July 6, 2018. The view and beach were beautiful. We used VRBO to book the vacation and the condo is managed by Panhandle getaways (biggest mistake ever!). VRBO will not post my review which was very honest. I'm not so sure that my review should really reflect Splash resort itself because we rented through VRBO/Panhandlegetaways. I don't know who is responsible for maintaining the condo we stayed in because the maintenance people wouldn't tell the truth nor would panhandle getaways. Unfortunately there are two elevators for 21 floors which move VERY slow. I do hold Splash resort accoutanble for this one. The concrete around the kiddie area is very slick. My little boy was not running and slid backwards as he was walking hitting the back of his head. He was okay but I would suggest adding something to the concrete called sure grip to help prevent accidents that could be serious. Upon arrival the floors in our condo were absolutely filthy, our feet were black! I don't wear shoes in my own house. I did call panhandle getaways and they sent a nice lady who did clean the following day. I had no idea we were to supply our own trash bags for the condo which I guess is fine, oh and toilet paper too, that should've been mentioned and I did not read that anywhere. There was not a single wash cloth upon arrival but after calling panhandle getaways that night who contacted splash, a lady at the front desk brought us 5 wash cloths like we requested. It's kind of a pain not being able to contact the front desk ourselves. There were Rice Krispies all over the counter. The room had not been cleaned when we arrived. I washed our sheets because there was marker where a child (I guess a child) had written on the sheets and the marker came out after I washed the sheets. This really grossed me out and made me feel very disappointed. I know it's peak season but come on! There's no excuse!! The other issue upon arriving multiple broken items everywhere! The room was so junky nothing like the pics! I will be posting pics, broken lamp glued back together, broken decorations for example two flamingos missing their heads (who wants to look at that?), broken knobs off of cabinets, an end table was propped against the couch with two broken legs on the floor with a glass top which could've hurt my toddler had we not noticed!! Of course the maids should've noticed and reported it! Patio furniture was busted and the patio had not seen a broom since who knows when. The DVD player was broken in the bedroom! I had to spend three days arguing with panhandle getaways and emailing Stacy & Joe who never responded but are suppose to be managers. Batteries were dead in the remotes and backs missing off of remotes. They sent two weird repairmen (claiming to work for the owners) to the room who took out batteries from another remote and put them in the remote which had dead batteries instead of just bringing batteries. They played dumb like they had no idea the DVD player was broke saying they weren't allowed to touch it unless they had a work order. Ok so I had already spoke to panhandle getaways twice and emailed maintenance about the DVD player. My toddler likes to watch DVDs in the evening. I raised heck with them and they went into the bedroom messed with the batteries in the remote and said oh the DVD player is fixed. I said really did you put a DVD in it? They said no. I said well let's put one in it because the batteries aren't the issue. While the repairmen stood there I showed them how the DVD player didn't work and took them on a tour to show them all of the broken decorations including the table with the broken legs. Overall this condo was poorly maintained! The furniture is so worn out and gross it looks like something from the DAV or goodwill. It's absolutely worn out and filthy. When I pay that kind of money to stay somewhere I expect better! I messaged my complaints even to the owner that I had concerns about how their condo was maintained and that they may not know what is going on but never heard a word. These people are just after getting your money and could care less about your experience or whether or not you come back. Panhandle getaways did send a nice maintenance guy finally our 4th day there named Dave, the only person we dealt with who had any sense. He fixed the end table, removed the broken decorations, broken lamp, & busted patio furniture, took pics of the broken knobs and other broken stuff. He was super nice and is the ONLY person who apologized about anything! I will never ever recommend staying here or using panhandle getaways or booking through VRBO. Maybe it would've been different booking through splash directly if that's even possible although I will not based on the fact they have 2 elevators for 21 floors! Splash Resort is an absolute joy for families. The beach is beautiful. We rented a corner unit with 3 balconies to the beach. The staff are kind and helpful. The only issue we had was the elevators during busy times. read more

Let me say this resort is not TERRIBLE... but there are defiantly MUCH better options in Panama City Beach. Hotel is Good for kids, but not so good for the adults. There wasnt any BIG thing that happened while here, but a lot of small things that all added up to a sub-par experience for my wife and I. It didnt make for an awful vacation, but with so many options in PCB at this price point, you can do better. The Good: The hotel is literally right on top of the beach. No roads to walk across and you can go back and forth between the beach and pool with kids easily. This also means your balcony will overlook what you came for... the ocean. Parking is covered (security guard on duty) with a climate controlled tunnel that connects to the deck, so your car is protected and not a nightmare to get to. There are several heated outdoor pools with a kids water area, so the little ones will have plenty to do if they like water. Pretty quite area, so you dont have to deal with cars and bikes running the roads at night wrecking the calming sound of the ocean outside. The Bad: I dropped ~$1500 to stay a week at this resort and the first thing I am asked for is another $20 for parking. I know this is their policy and all, but you could hide this in the cost of the room to make for a better impression. Not a big deal , just bad 1st impression. Not a lot of kid friendly stuff around the resort, so you will have to drive a bit more (5-10 miles) than other locations in PCB to get to arcades, putt putt, kid friendly restaurants, ect. While we were there, we experienced a broken dryer, broken dishwasher, toilet that ran none stop, broken bathroom door, broken toaster, and broken DVD players. While the hotel sent people fairly quickly to diagnose, gets parts for, then repair all of these... thats still several people multiple times a day coming in and out of your room, which isn't pleasant. Because this is technically a condo-owned complex, everything is pushed back to 'the owner of the condo is responsible for this' and the front desk closes at 5 PM and locked so no one to talk to until the next day if you need something. As I said, not a terrible stay but had a much better experience my last few stays at other locations in PCB. read more
