So, they also offer facials and eyelash treatment done by her daughter. This place is cool, hip, laid back, but get the work done. Depending on what services you get, expect to be here for a few hours too. Since this shop is in Bayonne, there is one street parking. My suggestion is to make your appt as early as possible to secure parking in the front or else you're going to end up driving around looking. I've suggested this salon to many people I know. Just be transparent if there is no capacity or please set the correct expectations. I would have totally been OK waiting another couple of weeks if needed. There was another customer who came in for a consultation with Ruk and Ruk took about 1 hour to finally talk to her. Then when that customer was trying to book an appt, you can tell Ruk was trying to have the customer book with another salonist. Well over a week prior, The responding police officer instructed the salon to return my coat immediately and made it clear there was no basis to accuse me of taking anything. Despite that instruction, my coat was still withheld, and I was asked to follow additional steps that were unnecessary and burdensome. 2. I returned to the salon multiple times during your posted business hours to pick up my coat, but the staff refused to return it and repeatedly insisted that I could only speak to -- and only retrieve my coat from -- the owner. 3. When the owner later insisted on specific pickup times, I explained that I work out of town and am not available during most salon hours or during the limited times when the owner was present. That is why I had already attempted to pick it up several times while you were open. 4. I informed the owner that the receptionist spoke to me in a rude and accusatory manner. The response I received was, "she's young and doesn't know how to speak to customers." No apology was offered at that time, or during any of the several calls and conversations I had with the owner. The only apology I received was after this public post. 5. After repeated attempts on my part, the officer ultimately had to retrieve my coat herself. That was the only point at which the issue was resolved. 6. I want to thank the West Milford Police Department for their professionalism and assistance in resolving the matter. I am sharing my experience because the community deserves an accurate understanding of what occurred.
