I went to Tony's for years when I lived in Missouri, I was surprised when my mother told me Tony was gone as I was a loyal customer 9-10 years ago. Over the holiday she booked us some time and I was ready to get my claws back after giving my nails a break (and she was paying as my Christmas gift). First, my tech was a gentleman of the grandfather age and we barely talked. I was open minded, but he defiantly put acrylics that were too large for my nail on. I make note of this because there are potential sanitary issues with openings for moisture between the natural nail and acrylic. He never asked what shape I wanted so I made sure to tell him I wanted an almond shape. He cut them for my shape and I was still apprehensive. Y'all, I will say, he put extra time and care into applying the acrylic powder and filling any gaps and getting a symmetrical thickness on all nails. The shape came out better than expected as he paid attention to detail while filing. All in all, my nails look pretty good, a little rounder than normal, but good. My main concern is the gel polish application, I will have some rough lines when they grow out. I have polish and clear coat on my cuticles. I will give them another go when I'm back in town but make sure, as a consumer, to ask for what you want. I bought a "pack" of services and when he discontinued that service, I had to reach out multiple times for a refund and then didn't receive refund the full remaining amount of the pack. Overall, I would say that it's worth going for a one-off service but this is not a spa I would recommend having as your go-to for regular treatments.

I booked an appointment specifically because I was told by Ken he uses a Nordlys IPL, a top FDA-approved device. He later admitted his machine is not a Nordlys at all--just parts with the same voltage. This is misleading, dishonest, and raises serious safety concerns. The treatment space was unsanitary, with dirty towels and questionable cleanliness, which Ken dismissed by saying he's a "one-man operation." He promised a refund in writing, even texted me to "feel free to dispute the charge" for faster processing--but never issued it. I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. On top of that, he tried pressuring me into signing an NDA to silence me. Between the fake equipment, false promises, unsanitary environment, and shady business practices, I strongly advise anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. Your safety, money, and peace of mind are not worth it.
