But if you've made it this far, let me tell you about the magical and prehistoric collector's items available at John's Jukes. First and foremost are the Jukeboxes, old delightful automated DJ machines that take everything from loonies to nickels. One of the Jukeboxes is fashioned to look like the back of a hot pink convertible, perfect for making your living room look like Pop Tate's Soda Shop in Archie Comics. Most of the other ones can be summed up by referencing the opening montage for Happy Days. There is also a wide variety of pinball machines, with every co-opted franchise from Star Wars to Kiss, and a few video game consoles that have been manhandled by fastidious fingers for over 40 years. But it's a high price to pay for nostalgia, with items ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand. If you do miss Frogger that much though, it's the right place to go, just make sure that you have a truck nearby so you don't have to maneuver the console through traffic.

Now, I am not a pinball game player, nor am I a jukebox expert, but I love the way they look in a large living room or a retro restaurant. And this place has some of the more unique items. From brightly decorated machines that play music the old-world ways (with coins) to pinball machines that cost a few thousand dollars, this travel time back to more beautiful days gone by is worth a visit.

It was a packed room because of the FIFA 2026 World Cup match between Portugal and Croatia. We enjoyed watching the thrilling game and eating our meal. They open as early as 9:30 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday, and 11:30 a.m. the rest of the week, so you can kickstart the fun right away. The layout here is brilliant: you can enjoy the mini-golf in the basement, catch your favorite sports games on a massive screen at the first-floor sports bar, or head up to the second floor for an absolute playground of pool tables, arcades, VR games, and QBIX. Personally, my absolute favorites are Super Mario Car Racing, Motorbike Racing, and VR Godzilla. The setup is highly rewarding, though it totally tempts you to buy more credits than you actually need- especially since the more you buy, the more bonus credits you rack up. Plus, you can trade your game points for merchandise, ranging from cute mini keychains all the way up to a Nintendo Switch. If you get hungry from all the gaming, they've got you covered. Enjoy 'Appy Hour daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., or hit up a Late Night Menu from 11p.m. to close, Thursday through Saturday, for good discounts on appetizers and drinks.
