By 6/5/25 their team of lawyers failed to give me a proper analysis of my case. I asked for a refund. I had to pay over 5000.00 just for P&N to tell me that they still had not a full analysis of my case. The lawyer I spoke to was not even a real estate lawyer. I had to find another lawyer to take my case. This was an absolute waste of time, energy and money.

The reviews on here are not a good reflection of my experience with Julie Rendelman. I am a Persian Gulf/ Iraq Freedom Veteran and was framed when my sons mother made a false race based 911 call against me. Unfortunately I did not record her with my cell phone to prove that. Moreover, I was relying solely on my attorney to give my case the attention it deserved. This incident happened on March 11th. It is now August. COVID did more work than her. She did absolutely nothing besides ask me if I would accept my charges dropped down to a violation. And dump her load onto a lesser experienced junior attorney. I made it clear in the beginning that I would not accept any plea. I explained to her over and over about being empathetic to my circumstances of having my son kidnapped from me using the corrupt broken system. They seemed so dull, close minded or blinded by the court room politics. Institutionalized by the court room that they forgot what it's like to be a human being. And what really happens when people are going through a custody battle. Take your head out of the law books and put your eyes and ears to the streets and pay attention to what really goes on. My experience seems very similar to the other bad review on here. She seem to be better at accepting deals with the DA. Conflict of interest rather than doing what's best for the client. I question the integrity of the reviews on here. They seem exaggerated, fabricated and a misrepresentation of this firm. I certainly did not have a five star experience and would like to inform others of that so you are not fooled by it like I was. She did not do any work in the court room as all of my dates kept getting adjourned. I still haven't received my detailed invoice, so I will be taking further action including filing a grievance. The attorney said he was able to work on it even without the NJ bar. I was like okay since my case was very straight forward. After a month since we started the case, I haven't heard any progress and my ex was rushing me everyday. I decided to send Leon an email. After a few weeks past, I didn't hear back from him and then I called the office. The receptionist, who picked up my call, sounded clueless. She asked me to spell my name at least 5 times and I felt that she was very annoyed with my long last name. I asked her to let Leon know to reply my call or email. However, I never got the response. A week later, I decided to switch the attorney and then finally I heard back from Leon. And he added some statements in the drafted settlement document from the opponent attorney, which didn't apply anymore. It costed me almost $1000. I am very disappointed that a almost 5 star attorney on Yelp provided a 1 star service to me. The divorce process was already depressing and this didn't help at all. Please stay away from this place.
