Even after that decision, I experienced delays with the transition to replacement counsel and had to repeatedly follow up regarding my file and work product. Most frustratingly, after Rebecca and I had spent considerable time reviewing a settlement agreement provision by provision and discussing proposed changes, the marked-up document reflecting that work was not included in the file initially transferred to my new attorney, requiring yet another follow-up.
