Of course I didn't mine and 5 hours later, after bleaching, dying, and a cut, I had purple hair and love it! I sat through my manicure feeling embarrassed, and the tech doing my nails seemed visibly uncomfortable after I was scolded in front of everyone. The manicure itself wasn't up to the usual standard, and one nail had already broken by the next day, and I ended up with a nail color I don't like. I understand salons can get busy, but a quiet, polite heads-up would have gone a lot further than being called out by name in front of other customers. Knowing my body I needed one of two things, a chiropractor or an LMT. I called all area businesses and Kneading Peace was the one that answered my calls. Booking was easy with a few texts my session was day of and in the morning! There is parking on site and off street which is nice. The entrance and waiting area are clean and tastefully decorated. Carrie is pleasant and forth coming about running her business where payment is accepted up front. All documents for reimbursement from insurance is given such as receipts. The treatment room is dimly lit and cozy. Carrie reviewed my intake form and asked relevant questions as well as asking what I wanted from this session, neck and back work. Upper body massage was given and muscles were released and headache was now gone! I highly recommend Carrie to anyone visiting the Millinocket area.
