Before the pandemic, they would accept walk-ins. I ended up waiting for thirty to forty-five minutes, at least, for my scheduled appointments. That was extremely frustrating. Now, however, with the pandemic, things run on time and more smoothly! The staff are friendly and this may be a small town, but you can be assured they are skilled. He not only did a great job on my son's hair but he spoke to him and asked him all the questions. As a parent raising a mini adult I try to let him speak up for himself. Both of them had a great interaction from start to finish. Pricing is extremely reasonable. We paid $20 for the hair cut, tipped $10. He also offers other services like a beard shaves. He has a Facebook page and locals looking out for him by passing around his name. That's how we found him. Booking was easy. There is a website/app to use. After a day of driving a troubled vehicle (it had me clinching the wheel and increased my stress level) I had a painful migraine headache! Knowing my body I needed one of two things, a chiropractor or an LMT. I called all area businesses and Kneading Peace was the one that answered my calls. Booking was easy with a few texts my session was day of and in the morning! There is parking on site and off street which is nice. The entrance and waiting area are clean and tastefully decorated. Carrie is pleasant and forth coming about running her business where payment is accepted up front. All documents for reimbursement from insurance is given such as receipts. The treatment room is dimly lit and cozy. Carrie reviewed my intake form and asked relevant questions as well as asking what I wanted from this session, neck and back work. Upper body massage was given and muscles were released and headache was now gone! I highly recommend Carrie to anyone visiting the Millinocket area.
