Sasha is a super aesthetician, very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, she explains the procedures and products very well. Sasha is also a trained and licensed massage therapist which she is also terrific at. Her massages really make a difference, after she's done, I'm able to get on with the day ahead without the persistent nagging pain that usually haunts me. I will definitely be back. School Street Yoga is the best yoga studio out there that just so happens to be tucked away on a…read moreside street in Waterville, Maine. Whether you're an avid yoga practitioner or have been contemplating trying yoga for the first time, it's an absolute must. My only warning is that you'll be hard pressed to find a better experience once you step foot in the studio. I started practicing with the founders, Jeri Wilson and Susan Golden, more than 10 years ago when I was 16. Both continue to teach at the studio even though it recently changed hands and is now owned by Kathleen Haberstock. But I have to say, Jeri and Susan spoiled me and my yoga experience for the rest of my life. I've lived in big cities from the east coast to the west and I still come back to the joy of these teachers and this studio. This place is truly a community. From the teachers who lead classes to the students who take the time out of their day to practice with one another in this space, it feels like coming home whenever I take a class. There is an abundance of teaching styles and multiple class levels so it's always easy to find something that fits what you need and where you are in your life and your physical ability. They offer events and teacher trainings and host teachers from other studios who bring something different to the table and allow this small community to experience world-class talent. If you're reading this and just discovering School Street Yoga for the first time, I urge you to take a class and see how lucky Waterville is to have a studio of this caliber. I've seen doctors for my issues had MRI's done, X-rays, prescribed pain medication offered surgery. Without getting into to many details of this journey and how everyone said to avoid Chiropractors and me finally saying screw it, I decided to try it. I have had 3 sessions with Dr. Saulter.. 3. I can't emphasize this enough, just 3. I have been pain free ever since. About 4 years later no pain. No nagging ailments no "I'm a little stiff this morning," no pain whatsoever. I almost want to go back for an appointment, pay the just to shake his hand. I want to be clear too, I'm not nice to my back. I work as a full time firefighter/paramedic. It's back breaking even when there aren't 400lbs people to lift or fires that last hours on end wether it be training or more training. I can't thank him enough!

It wasn't the most relaxing massage but he worked very hard, and i felt so much better. I have continued the massages every few months, and still don't have pain. The spa is very clean and easy to book a treatment online. My partner loves getting his hair cut here too. The prices are reasonable and you can always find parking and get an appt within a week or so.
