On our 1st trip to Tarpon Springs we were solicited by Kim walking back to our vehicle. She offered us free parking, 10% off food or a free drink at Yianni Restaurant and 10% off in the Spongeorama store. However since I made reservations on the phone we were charged a $5 parking fee, small price to pay to ensure we could get on the tour at the time we wanted. The land staff does have to I dont care attitude but the Sea staff was very pleasant. This is a boat tour just under 2 hours. Seating is first come first served and not very comfortable. They even had lawn chairs for extra seating. Once the cruise gets underway the bar is open - drinks are not inlcuded in the price of the ticket. The captain gave a nice narrative and he even went to the area where we saw Dolphins. The tour takes you to Anclote Island which is full of seashells. The tour does stop on the island and they give you 30 minutes to collect as many seashells as you can with the provided basket - no need to bring one. After you are back on the boat you are given a plastic bag to store your collection. On the way back to the dock we continued to look out for more Dolphins. Military including Veterans receive a discount on the ticket price. For 3 adults we paid less then $90 with 2 military discounted fairs. This is a nice little boat trip and even though Dolphin sighting is not guaranteed it was a nice little afternoon excursion.

Once you get past the overwhelming sales pitch of the company's other products and the sullen nature of the land staff you board a older but efficient bait to sail out to the gulf. It's a nice ride out thru the canal into the gulf, the boats captain has lots of information of the area and it was a great day to be on the water. A stop at shell island was the highlight of the trip for us, and there's no disappointment here, it is full of shells, your only there for a half hour, I could have stayed the day!! But back in the boat hunting for dolphin sightings and back to port. All in all a fun day, nothing fancy but worth the price.

This was worth what I paid for! Ticket was $25 or so. We did get to luckily see a dolphin or two (it's not guaranteed) and we got to go to a small island and go searching for sea shells. Guides were nice, had a good sense of humor etc. They offer snacks and beverages (including alcoholic Kinky styles) on the boat. I would like to bring more with next time. Took around an hour and a half

This is the boat we came on. It's got personality.

Just walking by when I asked one of the guys selling tickets if he had a good story to go with the arm in his sling. Sure enough, the story was great! Hadn't booked the cruise but told me they had 1 seat left. I said "is there drinks on the boat?" "Sure is!!" He said. "I'm in!" Pretty affordable for a 2 hour sunset cruise. I was not disappointed! The views were amazing and the guide was pretty funny. The beach was nice and very private. Didn't see any dolphins but that's ok, I'm not a dolphin whisperer anyway. Group was lively and I didn't feel out of place even though I was traveling alone. Definitely recommend. The bouncer/bartender makes a mean margarita!

We took 2 tours on this same boat on the same day. The first was a regular dolphin tour. We stopped at the Anclote island for 30 min. And found a basket full of amazing shells! The 2nd was a sunset cruise which was also amazing!! The captain took the time to position the boat so everyone could have a chance to take plenty of pictures of the beautiful sunset. We saw multiple dolphins on both tours, the captain made sure to stop and make every effort to get the dolphins to interact so everyone had the chance to see them. The crew was so awesome, informative, down to earth and treated us like vip. Bonus was the full bar on the boat and prices were not bad at all! WELL worth the money!!!!!

He also gave us history of the homes on the water. We saw so many birds and the views were amazing. It was Father's day. So the Father's got their first drink free. They sold snacks such as chips and candy. Also sold alcohol refreshments as well as non alcohol. My advice is to use the restroom prior to boarding. The restroom was on the lower level and those steps looked treacherous. Even for me. I was glad I went beforehand. The boat did do a lot of rocking so you have to be very careful. His first mate was helpful in getting everything for everyone. This was very affordable and definitely worth the price. Parking can be a challenge so I recommend paying to park. This cruise was not good. First, they advertised a 4 hour snorkeling experience. I understand that…read moretravel time will be included, but it made no sense that it took ~45 mins to get to the spot going there, and over 1 hour to get back. The return trip was so slow. We were baking under the sun. (This felt like it was done on purpose so that they could kill time so we would return at the 4 hour mark). They don't even offer free water for us to drink. Instead they charge something that should be provided since we will be without access to water for 4 hours. It's a shame that they would deprive people for that long without water knowing well enough that they will be in the sun for that long!!! That's not right at all. The first stop was to Seashell Island and wasted ~1 hour of our time. It was nice to see, but it was not what I expected to happen on a snorkeling trip. So let's do the math: we had a total of ~1 hour 45 mins of travel, plus ~ 1 hour on an island that you could see only a bit of since it's large and you couldn't possibly see it all. That is a total of ~2 hours and 45 mins. Now how much time is left for snorkeling?? About 1 hour and 15 mins for snorkeling. But it wasn't even that much. We probably spent about 50 mins snorkeling on this human made ruins (they called it ruins) that is covered in moss and contains about 50 tiny fish and a lot of seaweed that will make you itch. I guess they charge per fish you see. I also found it odd that they had life jackets but didn't recommend us to have them on while snorkeling. In the event of an emergency I wouldn't trust the two captains to assist in a timely manner. Instead, they recommended we take a pool noodle along with you to snorkel. The captains were not even charismatic or gave us any talking points. There was an attempt at spotting dolphins, but that failed--probably not their fault, but was annoying because they were sailing so slowly under the hot sun. Also one captain had a beautiful accent, but I couldn't comprehend anything he was saying (the sound system was probably to blame). Sooooo to sum it all up: DON'T GO HERE. Save your money. I write this review with the intention that others think hard before they choose to go here not because I like saying bad things about a place. Thanks for reading!
