Been coming here everyday for breakfast and also had lunch here too. If your looking for good home cooking this is the place!!!! Best hash brown I have ever had!!! And I'm saying even better than the ones I cook at home. Have to get it with all the fixings, which is the cowboy skillet!!! They have hot hot hot coffee and it is so good!! They also have a little pastry pantry which is filled some good homemade goodies. It is just a nice little restaurant that makes you feel warm inside like your at home and moms cooking!!! Shelly and Steve who are the owners and the nicest human beings ever. Thank you for your hospitality and we will see you soon again.

I did have the burger chilled and reheated and it was still flavorful. Apparently this place has been around since the sixties and has been treating locals to a proper local beef burger and soft serve ever since! They also have a lot more than that to offer, as the menu is as tall as the building it's glued to. I saw Mac 'n cheese bites as an option. Imagine what the first Dairy Queen or Sonic was probably like before mass production and freezing everything for distribution. The vanilla soft serve is SO good (the chocolate has a faint powder taste to it). The cold front option is just like a blizzard, with as many add-ins as you wish and nestle cookie dough straight from the tub. It's hard to have a burger in Scobey that isn't delicious because the meat is raised down the same road, but it's awesome to know they take the time to share it with the rest of us! Just be aware they usually close by 8 pm and will close on a Saturday so they can also enjoy the fair festivities. If you find yourself flying across the Great Plains of Montana and want a fresh burger and or a sweet stop, you'll be happy when you drive up and see the open sign is still facing out.

I was seated in plain sight....easily visible to all five of the young waitresses working that evening. Over the next several minutes, I watched them serve food, refill waters, and check in with other tables around me. Not once did any of them acknowledge me. No "someone will be right with you," no "we're a little behind," not even eye contact or a smile. Nothing. It was as if I was completely invisible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt...maybe they were overwhelmed or distracted. So I waited. But then, three of them gathered behind the bar to chat and regroup. They saw me sitting there and even asked each other out loud, "Has anyone helped that table?" They looked confused, shrugged it off, and went right back to their conversation. Still, no one came over. No one claimed responsibility. I didn't even get a glass of water. I sat there for nearly 10 minutes. Not a word. Not a glance. I finally got up and calmly walked out. Several nearby guests actually gave me sympathetic looks--they could see what was happening too. And here's the kicker: I had plenty of time to look through the menu, and honestly, the prices felt a bit high for what was being offered. Nothing jumped out or made me eager to order. Maybe that was because I was starting to feel dehydrated from the lack of water. For the record, I'm just an average guy, clean and respectful, fresh out of the shower with a spray of cologne. I wasn't rude, disruptive, or hard to miss. Bottom line: I felt completely dismissed and ignored. I won't be coming back. Best of luck to the team--I hope service improves for future guests

Just ordered water for drinks but the coffee smelled great and the wait staff walked around with the coffee pot to refill cups. We ordered the smash burgers and they did not disappoint. They were hot and fresh. Pepsi products are served and were $1.50. Refills are offered. The burgers came with two patties, and fully loaded. Ketchup and/or ranch was offered. I would highly recommend the grill. The pizza smelled great too. Will return before leaving Sidney. Outside is inconspicuous but don't judge a book by its cover.
