It's large and gorgeous and has a lake, a swimming pool, playgrounds, exercise areas, two museums, a food hall, and more! The landscaping is really nice, and the paths are newly paved. If you are one of those people who likes a bit of exercise on a vacation, the park is a great place for a run or a workout at one of the exercise areas. It's a really impressive new park!

There was live music which was nice, and the ambience here is new and slighty posh with rustic accents. The best part is that the central area is very spacious, and there is plenty of space between tables. It feels more like a park than a cafeteria, and that makes it much more comfortable. I'll definitely go again and try some of the other food options. I ate at Peruanos in the food market, because I love Peruvian food and havent had it in years. I ordered Lomo Saltado, my favorite Peruvian dish, and it was okay but not impressive and I wouldn't order it again - I was hoping for a bit more, but it was too bland and lacking in flavor.

We were so excited to walk in after seeing their sign advertising that they offer some harder to find Yucatecan/Mayan liquors! We tried Pox (a corn-based Yucatecan liquor), Xtabentun (a Yucatecan anise and honey liquor), and Yatzil (a Yucatecan chile habanero liquor)! They offer that and many more options (including many flavors of Pox) by the shot. After trying a few, we bought a few bottles of our favorites (they offer different size bottles)! They also sell arts, crafts, clothes, and more. Definitely a good place to look for some souvenirs. The service was great, too. We had a wonderful time trying some liquors for the first time! there is no 'tennis program' at this club…read more there are like 2-300 people who play and are not looking to add new folks only 6 courts so they break days up (Sat T Th or M W F ) no pro (that I have seen) no drop in no round robin no clinics it is a bit of a joke - but Merida tennis is not like US tennis no places that have lessons clinics drop in dubs or r robins on a regular basis went to 'clinic; at another facility all they did was feed in a ball and you played the point - no direction correction (and no serve practice) what a waste - tennis in Merida is not great - if you are from CA (me) TX FL SC NC you will be super disappointed it has been 3 months living here - these are my findings as a (former) daily tennis player - will keep trying to figure this out

The person she spoke with said that I would need to pay 95 pesos for one day and I could swim as long as I wanted , excluding when classes were in session. I went there today and was greeted by some of the office employees, one who addressed me as a "gringo" and this was not done in a complimentary fashion. They walked me to the pool and I was ready for some laps when they told me I could not swim unless I paid for a years membership at the tune of 7,000 pesos. There was one man in the pool swimming and they told me they were very busy. Obviously, this did'nt seem to be the case at the time. They were rude to me, with one exception who was the security guard and he seemed baffled by the interaction as well. I would not recommend this operation to anyone .
