I went in with $400 to spend on a winter coat. Everything was clean and organized. I wandered in, did a loop then headed to the winter coats. No one acknowledged me until I had to go ask a women if she actually worked there even. No one seemed to wear any kind of uniform or any kind of name tag to show that anyone even worked there. The women I talked to has zero knowledge on their winter coats. After I couldn't fit the coat I had tried on, she told me that certain brands carried plus sizes She disappeared quickly. I spent 45 minutes in there, came out frustrated. I won't be going there again I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

Tried checking the inventory for the moose jaw store from the main corporate website. I found 71 straight items either out of stock or not available, then i decided to quit. All these items were popular outdoor clothing items, shoes, and boots for hiking, running, and general fitness, which should have been easily available at any store. I then placed an order online, which was cancelled within 24 hours with another out of stock. Both the website, and the local store management said that they had no input, or control of either the store's inventory, or the inventory of the fulfillment centre. Upon reading the online cancellation email, I was not offered a rain-check , or completion of my order, nor was I directed to another sportcheks inventory to fulfill the order. I was offered no coupon for future purchases, or any attempt of wanting my future business from ether the customer service manager, or the local store manager. What a pathetic way of transacting no business. F- . One star is far too generous for this terrible company, it should be negative 5 stars. Use mountain equipment co-op instead. read more
