Thank you Salvatore for taking such great care of us!!! The breakfast buffet was typical European style. Pretty minimal but they will make cappuccinos and lattes if you request them. You won't be disappointed when you taste the pastry's they offer. The croissants are AMAZING!!! The hotel offers quick and easy access to the center of town - however, be prepared to walk a lot of stairs and climb hills. One thing to take note of is the parking. It's basically nonexistent - you need to drop off your luggage and then try and find parking somewhere on the mountain - it will test your parallel parking skills and your ability to move in small spaces to be certain. We were told it's best to park and abandon the car for the duration of your visit. Good advice!! Give this place a try!

Breakfast in the little patio is lovely and Marco, the owner helps you to organize the best tour and the yoummiest dinner. In the area ther are a lot of great restaurants my favourites are Marricriu, Santi e Briganti and osteria Agostiniana. The only problems is that you have to reserve this place in advance since marco has only feed rooms!

As we showed up without reservations, Marco hadn't planned for breakfast in the morning so discounted the room price. What a gentleman he is. He's very attuned to the tourist aspects of the area so spent at least an hour giving us detailed recommendations that all proved to be invaluable. Because of him, we made some discoveries we'd have entirely missed. He speaks good English. As for the location, it is right in the midst of midtown Fiumefreddo with every restaurant and attraction within a few minutes walk. We worried about parking. Marco has slots right there, curb-side for his guests. He even invited us to leave our car there the next day so we could walk the town without parking hassles. I'll bet the breakfast would have been good too.

Agriturismo San Leonardello is in a rural area, away from the tourist of Taormina & Siracusa. A little pathway behind Agriturismo San Leonardello will take you to a small bar "Blue Ice" for granita, espresso & prosecco, also a small fruit market, that's it! But we loved it! A short trip away is the unique intriguing lava formations and bathing spot of Alcantara valley. Hotel d'Orange has everything a traveler needs. The town and this hotel is for those looking to get a taste of rural Sicily at a relaxed pace. Be sure to check out the interesting display of various and antique mini liquor bottles. The real standout of this hotel is their employee Giuseppe Savoca who goes out of his way to help other people.

No counter space in the bathroom. Tight/small shower. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and other small amenities like shower cap, nail file, etc. Bed is comfortable. Mini fridge is packed with many beverage options to buy. Close to all shopping. Pool is very far and down many steps. Poor reception/wifi gave us no tv access. Others reported that when they have access, no channels with English. Overall, I would stay here, again.
