Recently moves to smaller premises and handy to pick the standard round of sporting goods. Prices are pretty reasonable and staff willing.

Situated along the High Street in Ely City Centre , Paul Days has an old fashioned feel to it …read more They sell a huge variety of sports wear and equipment , as well as all the local school uniforms and brownie, scout etc wear. Its a one stop shop when kitting your child out for many clubs , schools and activities. The staff are charming and give everyone their special attention to ensure you get the products right. If they don't have it in stock they will do their best to get it in for you. There is a no quibble money back as well if the items are not right.

As mentioned before great for Brownie uniforms etc and extras if shopping for a themed gift Brownie & Rainbow dolls, bears, notepads etc. Best of all competitively priced roller skates in an accessible fitting area. I recently decided to buy some proper running trainers and visited Alpha Sports for the first time…read more They are a small independents sports shop that sell a range of items such as trainers, swimming costumes, rugby equipment and much more. I am not an athlete or fitness guru, however the customer service was friendly and professional. The staff at Alpha Sports are very knowledgeable about biomechanics which I learnt was important when purchasing running trainers. I got to stand on a special heat sensitive board which helped select the correct type of trainers for my needs by considering my posture and how the weight was distributed by my feet. I then got to try on differing makes until I found the right pair for me. Alpha Sports also offer gait analysis for more serious runners. I would definitely recommend Alpha Sports if you want to find a pair of trainers that are tailored to your needs. The staff have a lot of knowledge and are happy to answer your questions plus give you the time you need to find your best pair of trainers so you don't feel rushed.

I like the Sole Trader outlet store, but thats about it. Its a forgottable place, with no real character or purpose. The Lakeside outlet in Doncaster is sadly just as bad, so this is the best in the area - but thats not saying much. It really needs a large scale expansion, as its location and premise is great - its just not been done very well. Time for a refurb and expansion if that option is available to them.

Most of the stores like ot think they are designer shops, and the prices reflect this. It is also situated quite far away from the town center so it is not possible to get here without a car, or it i very awkward to say the least. My opinion - stick to the town center and dont bother!

Shop is fine. Prices are good so long as you pay for their membership card. Staff are pleasant…read more But oh my God pray you never have to deal with their head office customer service dept. They are completely incompetent and lazy. I ordered some jackets online for my family, in several sizes to try. Kept 4, returned 6. They processed the refund at three different prices - for the same jacket in different sizes. When I pointed out their error I just got a "we refunded this correctly" email. I'm now 12 emails in to this conversation and they're still doubling down. No attempt to explain why they're applied 3 different prices to the same jacket. No attempt to explain why the difference between my original payment and the refund is more than the cost of the 4 jackets I've kept. Just insulting "I've looked into this..." emails when they clearly haven't looked into it and can't be bothered. Lazy, rude and incompetent. It's terrible that their shop staff are being undermined by head office like this.

Wonderful no nonsense shoe shop with a good range of shoes for those on a limited budget…read more Surprisingly good quality shoes for the cost. But price is only one half of the story; service with a smile, chat and no pressurised selling involved. On the contrary, unhurried and a throw back to when people could be bothered. Delighted with my THREE pairs - boating/casual and work boots. Sincerely hope that this shop remains as is for many years to come.

The staff are friendly, take care when handling products to purchase and take questions and queries on bored. I find it very good how when you walk out of the changing rooms, a staff sees you and comes to give advice whether if a different size, colour or other things such as accessories will look better and make the person more 'trendy'. When purchasing an item, the staff at the till will talk to you and ask if you will be 'doing anything nice' due to the things which is about to be bought. New Look is practically more wardrobe and everything ticks my expectations and nothing i can think off is an issue. The best shop ever and not too pricey prices. Fabulous boutique specialising in "Antique, Boutique and Vintage"…read more The shop emits a luxurious feel with it's well displayed wares in the smallish space. There is none of the clutter to lessen the shopping experience that you get in so many of the London vintage shops, giving the impression that each item has been hand picked for this store, rather than being a jumble sale that you have to wade through in hope of stumbling across a gem. I loved the women's bags and accessories, and happily left with some scarves for my collection. I expect that I will be back before my short stay in Lincoln is over. Definitely worth a visit!
