And i did so because i kept hearing over radio and tv that there was no bike available. But Primeau had several of the same model. So i bought one on the spot. Used it for about 300 kms. Schedule an appointment to fix few bugs. Went back to get the bike......and they didn't fixed anything because they just don't know. Nice attitude, but it felt like being at a car dealer. Two guys at service telling me that that's the way the motor at the back wheel works and bla, bla bla. I had an ace in my sleeve. ;-) I responded " no, I bought another e bike one month ago, with back wheel motor also, and it doesn't work the way you describe. So you don't know ? So i left. I'll find another place to get some quality service

I needed everything checked and tuned up to make sure that I hadn't bought a clunker and that it's ready for this cycling season. Got everything checked and it turns out I got an excellent bike and the complete check up and tune up only set me back $23. The repair guy also was super helpful and gave me tips on other accessories that I might want to eventually add to my bike like types of toe-clips and bike locks. It was pretty effortless.

The bike mechanics…read moreare generally not very knowledgeable, and the head mechanic never actually listens to what you have to say. I had my bike serviced under warranty. I was promised a turnaround time of 3 to 4 weeks but instead had to wait 3 months. When I received the bike back it was delivered with flat tires, and improperly adjusted brakes and gears making it un-ride-able. Under further inspection there were various bolts and washers missing, and the crank spindle was installed without grease when it should have been. Further I was assured by the store's owner that everything that it went in for was fixed, however only a portion of the tings were fixed.

They took it and told me they would send it to North Face to get it repaired. They said it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. We are in November now and I didn't get it back yet. They first lost my file so it took a while before I got any information on my coat. Then they told me it was North Face that was delaying it and they would receive it early November. Of course they didn't call me to do the follow up. In fact, they never did any follow up at any point in the process: I have to call and almost harass them to get information on my coat. There's only one person that manages the returns there and she only works during the week, which make it hard to reach her. When she's not sick or whatever. I also bought a bicycle there. Service was super slow, it took one hour more than what they told me it would take before I could leave with my bike. They charge for stuff like reflectors while most stores will just give them for free. I'll never buy there again, which is sad because it's at 5 minutes from where I live. I think it's worth the transport to go to La Cordée or other more stores with decent service.

Actually, you seem to be doing a pretty good job in taking my money, even if I don't live so close these days. I like this location over the Marche Central one (St Denis doesn't even qualify for this race!) because it's a lot less hectic to get to, and is easy to stop into on my way to visit friends and family. It's a little bit smaller than Marche Central, and thus doesn't carry as much, but overall it still has a good selection. In particular I find the staff are great! Friendly and helpful if you approach them, but not jumping on top of you either. I've been encouraged to take off my shoes and get into tents and sleeping bags to try them out. I have a MEC employee to thank for the suggestion to buy a compression bag for my sleeping bag ... and a demonstration on how useful they are. That really sold me. There was no hard sell or "you NEED this!", just a suggestion and a demo. I like that. All the good stuff being said I find like any store there are seasons where I love everything, and others not so much. I like their house brand clothes, but sometimes the colours are just ugly. Other times they are great! I was buying a fleece jumpsuit for my infant recently, and was a little bummed that the only options were bright pink, or bright blue. Whatever happened to a nice green or orange, something a little less gender specific? Some of the other kids clothes had better colour schemes. At least they had what I was looking for, that's better than most places. I can definitely see him wearing this for awhile, and it was much better made than some of the alternatives.

Really wanted. We did find it elsewhere but when we tried to return the original pair the same day, we where told NO Refunds. This is not how you stay in business. I was very dissatisfied with this and will never return. Prices where good and I was thinking g if making a league purchase with them but this bad experience means I will NEVER GO BACK. Now I'll have to market place or eBay the other pair and hope I can recover my money.
