Just moved to Conyers and my husband was looking for a barber. Being new in town it's hard to find someone that would be a good fit. Happen to be driving by and saw a shop. So, decided to stop and couldn't be happier! The staff and owner were very welcoming and made me feel like I was a true regular patron. My husbands cut was clean and I was very impressed. Went to get a haircut this afternoon. did not have an appointment. Person greeting me told to have a seat and they would get to me soon. Watched as 4 other people came in without appointments saying first available. I got up and left as they were taken before me and barber's gave me dirty looks. Absolutely fire. Eric did my cut and it was great. I told him I wanted him to do whatever he wanted and he got me looking right! I highly recommend this barber shop the music is good and vibes of all the stylists are great. Lots of laughs and jokes. Also they do great at incorporating walk in service! The barber shop is located in a Plaza. You can get a haircut, go grocery shopping at Kroger's, and grab some Chinese food in one swoop. There are seven barbers, all of which are talented. However, there are 4 that I particularly like. Not only do they take cash, but you can also use your credit card. There are two TVs and they also play music too. It's back to school time so you know most barber shops are crowded. On a whim I walked into Sports and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and comfort provided. Eric, who's chair was open took my son right away. He was professional and detailed in his work and made my son as comfortable as possible. He even offered him chips at the end! I came to Covington Ga and found this barbershop. A barber name Eric cut my hair and he put me back in the game.

I walked into this barbershop recently with the intention of getting a quick cut before I went to take a new driver's license picture. When I entered the shop I was approached by a guy that asked me, "Hey, man. Who are you waiting on?" I replied, "It doesn't matter, but who's the best barber? And do you have an Instagram so I can check out your cuts?" The guy dismissively pointed to another barber and said, "There you go.". The other barber replied, "I ain't got no Instagram. We ain't really got cuts like that up here." I replied, "Okay. Well I'm not going to pay for a BS haircut, so who do y'all think gives the best haircut?" One of the guys pointed to a senior barber who had, years earlier, given me a horrible haircut. The cut was so bad I went back for a refund the next day, after having to return to the shop the day before to have another barber attempt to fix the bad haircut. When the guy pointed to the senior barber I said, "Nope. He's messed me up before." These guys were getting irritated and they pointed me in the direction of a younger barber who was engaged in a phone call in the last chair at the rear of the shop. I was willing to give this guy a shot. Now, before I continue, I just want to make it clear that I grilled those other barbers about their cuts specifically and strategically to determine who was the most confident in their ability to produce the most desirable results. The other three barbers were contemptuous and rather rude, which informed me of their possible indignance toward unhappy clients. The young barber that ended up cutting my hair is named, 'Tunes'. He did a decent rush job--the blend on my temp fade wasn't blurry, he pushed my hairline back a little, my beard wasn't lined up evenly and it was noticeably crooked, he didn't straight razor my hairline or my beard after he lined everything up with the trimmers. Overall, I'd give the haircut a 6.5 out of 10, which is good enough for me to leave satisfied with the haircut. The haircut took all of 10 minutes for the barber to complete, it was a simple dark caesar with a temp fade and a quick beard edge up with no additional trimming of the beard. When the barber completed the cut I looked in the mirror and approved the cut, I then stood up and handed the barber a fresh, crisp $20 bill and I remained there to wait on my change. The barber then informed me that the haircut would cost $25. I was shocked! Not only is $25 an outrageous price for a haircut, the haircut was only mediocre. There are literally dozens of barbershops within the metropolitan Atlanta area that, not only have skilled barbers that are professional and stand by their work, but the haircuts are also cheaper. I ended up leaving the barber with only the $20 and I left the shop. I will not return. If you're looking for a top quality haircut for an economical price from a highly-skilled barber with a professional attitude, this DEFINITELY isn't the spot. UPDATE: To add insult to injury, I was approached by "Tunes" as I exited the Kroger grocery store next door to the barbershop. "Tunes" approached me in an aggressive manner. He suggested, in no uncertain terms, that me writing an honest review on this barbershop is an emasculating gesture. "Tunes" then demanded that I "take (his) name off (this) Google s***, bro!" LOL! I been coming here since 2005 an I've had the same barber. Great place for men to come talk and buy stuff lol.

Have never had to wait even when I brought three of my boys in all at once with no appointment!! Always courtesy and do a great job!!!

Worst haircut I have had in a long time, the people are nice enough but they suck at cutting hair that's for sure.
