He took plenty of time to listen to my daughter as she gave her history. It was immediately clear that he is an expert on the subject. He took measurements to assess her current status. He stressed that he favors a holistic approach to treatment. And he started treatment by teaching her a few exercises that she could do to help relax her joints. He was very kind and patient during that process. He was also very perceptive and reflected an understanding of her condition that was beyond the short conversation we had. He left my daughter with written instructions, diagrams, and even videos of how to perform the simple exercises he recommended starting with. We will return in a week to check progress and get additional coaching from Gerrit. I'm greatly optimistic that Gerrit will be able to improve my daughter's condition and looking forward to seeing what develops over the next ten weeks of treatment. The office staff were very kind and helpful and the office is clean, bright, and well equipped. The location is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. It is so difficult to find experienced providers that treat TMJ disorder so we are both extremely grateful to Gerrit for providing the knowledgeable and empathetic care that he gives. I had a knee replacement over a year ago and experienced previously poor results in obtaining both…read morea desirable range of motion (ROM) and regaining lost strength in the knee. Previous PT at another provider was insufficient to resolve these problems and I felt like the PT provider tried to persuade me to live with these extreme limitations. PT has been progressing well at Westside PT and I'm particularly pleased with the results that I've seen from their Biodex Isokinetic Dynamometer. In an extremely well controlled and measurable structure, I have slowly begun to increase both my strength and ROM, both of which I have been unpleased with from my previous progress. I especially like that I have agency to control how much I push myself instead of relying on the PT provider to arbitrary set those limits. You may want to consider this as an option for knee replacement patients especially if you are experiencing an insufficient return of ROM and strength. It is also highly recommended, by myself, for those that appreciate seeing a well organized, measurable structure to PT. It is still early days and I intend to continue PT for many more weeks but the progress has been both measurable and transformative. I refuse to believe that I must live with the inadequate results of my previous PT failure and this place is helping me to achieve what I know is possible.

What really is outstanding is the quality of care that they offer for people with injuries. It's amazing that they are constantly following up and ensuring that you are scheduled and have a solid treatment plan. What's important is that the providers here understand central nervous system pain and don't do anything that can hurt a person. Not all doctors nor physical therapists have learned about this. The staff here are the friendliest of any office I have ever been to in my life! Most medical office staff just try to get payment asap and rush you out. Here they are so patient and sweet no matter how busy they get, and they are incredibly busy. Both Kimberly's were wonderful as well as everyone else whose name I forget. I think Arie is still there; she scheduled, handled billing, she basically did everything. When my insurance was being difficult, she would help me get more visits pre authorized. EviCore was awful, but she dealt with them without hesitation. This lovely woman turned their "not medically necessaries" denials to absolutely medically necessary! If the location wasn't so far, I would go there for feet physical therapy because finding a good physical therapist is so very difficult. I removed one star only because so many appointments are shorter. It is harder to get the longer one hour appointments and when you're coming from far, you want to get the most out of the appointment. But even then they were still worth it. Offering more shorter appointments is of course a higher up decision outside of the location, the actual staff there though are 5 stars all the way!

Shirlyn was warm and encouraging in all her interactions with my mom, who had very limited mobility even before her fall, and despises all forms of exercise. Shirlyn worked a full hour with my mom at each visit, somehow never pushing her too hard, in contrast to the PT's that came with the home health services we were assigned after discharge, who often spent less than 15 minutes per visit, but billed the same amount. Three sessions in and I'm dancing out of the practice. My issues, lower back pain due to all sorts including bone spurs. I was in terrible pain. I don't give out 9-10 for pain as yo me those are reserved for when the pain is so bad you don't care if you don't wake up the next time... my back pain at its worse was an 8... close to a 9. I couldn't walk, standing was a nightmare, normal chores such as cooking caused me a lot of energy. In came Jenny and her magical ways ! First session I was achy, but a good achy yet still I wasn't doing much except the given exercises. Next session I actually walked for 30 minutes ! Yes!!! 30 minutes. Yes, I felt it, and yes I had to ease everything else but I walked again. Third session in and I was dancing out. I have a way to go but had to write this review because never have I ever do quickly felt relief from any of my aches (and I'm a pro at pt seeing I've been seeing them since age 10, due to all sorts of inflammation and whatnot). FALSE. Their billing dept is sending me bills for the very widget my insurance and OT says is covered. Even after I notified them about this situation. ADVICE: get it in writing what is covered as they will charge you anyways. Def look into the Surprise ACT that went into effect for those not correctly informed. Again OT was good but be AWARE and know what you are getting billed for.

The person in the office that I delt with should not be in a public facing job but I wasn't concerned, just glad that he was NOT my PT. However, when I met the person assigned for my treatment, I was met with a young man who was also very dismissive and rude. The appointment lasted just over 30 min during which time I was told there wasn't anything wrong. Odd given the fact that the PT didn't look at or ask for the images I had brought that very clearly showed impingement syndrome among other things. He gave me a few exercises of which I told him I had already been doing with no relief. Obviously I decided I would not go back. When I received the explanation of benefits from my insurance company I was appalled to see that they were billed 586.00! Wow, Armworks sure think a lot of themselves. 586.00 to be very quickly treated dismissively and rudely. Of course my insurance company did not cover all of the amount billed stating "Charges grossly exceed fee schedule/maximum allowed" No kidding! Unfortunately, I am stuck paying them the difference. For all of those reasons, I would not recommend giving them your business.
