I was referred to physical therapy by my physician, and decided to go to Apex PWR. The quality of care was very disappointing. It consisted of doing a few exercises on the matt in an open gym area where I was interrupted and asked to move by people moving equipment around. After performing the exercises, the "therapist" had no information about what the problem might be and just advised me to come back to the gym. Following this non-productive visit, my insurance company was billed for hundreds of dollars of therapy services, and my bill for a single visit was over $100, and I still had no idea what the diagnosis was or how to address it. read more

The physical therapist was very nice, but going there made my injury worse (the original PT at a different place caused the injury to begin with). I had to have 2 injections in my back to try to calm things down due to going to Apex. I feel bad saying that I do not recommend going to physical therapy there- but they do have a nice open workout area if you are looking for that. read more

My husband and I came back in for PT and we are super happy we made the decision. The physical therapists are great, staff at Apex are so friendly and great too. Today was my second PT, first one was eval with light PT and today kicked my butt but in a good way. Super happy to keep it up and see the changes in my ability and movement. Today I was definitely a little dizzy after PT which is not abnormal for me living with a TBI but Dr. Mike had me lay on the table with my feet up for ten minutes and it definitely helped me get my nervous system back down and made me realize this would be great for me to practice at home and when I get super overwhelmed so thanks Dr. Mike for having me do that today! read more

I had a DEXA scan at Apex this morning! This was my first time having a scan and also my first visit to Apex. What an awesome experience! (Side note- the entire facility, including the van where the DEXA scan takes place, was absolutely spotless. It's quiet clear they take the responsibility of sanitizing very seriously.) Mike was so friendly and was very patient with me as I asked him TONS of questions. He was professional, comfortable to be around and extremely knowledgeable! He went over the results of my scan right away and I left feeling well-informed and ready to move forward with my fitness goals. I pre-booked another scan in three months! I highly recommend Apex. Apparently this place used to be named something different - not sure when they changed it, but I was introduced to them as Apex Performance Wellness. My Orangetheory location recently worked with them to offer members Dexa scans to track results, which is really awesome. The mobile scan van came to our location and the whole process was quick and easy and the guys running it were super friendly. Great experience and I'd highly recommend it to folks looking to track their fitness goals in a more comprehensive way than just stepping on the scale. I'll definitely do another scan when they come back to our Orangetheory location again! read more

Pacific Neuro Therapy is amazing! If you are injured and looking to recover quickly to get back to your active lifestyle, do yourself a favor and get started on your treatment plan with PNT. I suffered a severe calf strain during a workout that left me in constant pain and barely able to put any weight on my left leg. An orthopedic specialist recommended 6-8 weeks of rest, which does not work with my active lifestyle so I turned to PNT for help. After the 1st ARP wave session my pain was significantly reduced and by the 8th session I was completing my first "force test" which was a 30 min run to see how my leg would hold up. I completed over 20 sessions and am thrilled with the results. I'm pain free and I'm back to running, golfing, tennis, and all the other activities I enjoy. The entire team at PNT is fantastic! Kellen worked quickly with my insurance company to get my treatments covered and kept me in the loop on the process. He also made scheduling my appointments easy and worked around my crazy travel schedule. I had a DEXA scan with Kalen prior to my injury and that was a great experience as well. In just a few minutes the DEXA scan measured my lean muscle mass, body fat including visceral fat, and bone density. This is the ultimate measure and a great way to track your progress, I look forward to my next one! I have been dealing with with patellar tendinitis in both knees for two years due to overtraining. After finally owing a doctor's advice and resting for four months, there was no improvement so I was ready to try anything to get me back to running at the level I wanted...which, at that point, was anything given the time off. I headed over to PNT based on a friend's referral, and after 10 sessions, I can run with no pain in my knees. Are you kidding me?!?! I am thrilled (and a bit mad at myself for not doing this sooner). My husband has had glute pain for over 2 years. Nothing has helped. He was to the point of another band-aid treatment suggestion of spinal shots...until now. He is not experiencing any pain! I'm 60 and a former competitive athlete. Trying to stay in shape and be healthy . The Dexascan was just what I needed to see exactly where I was storing fat as well as my bone density. I now have a base to look at as I continue to strive to keep illness and medications out of my life. If your a senior, get this test done! It is so detailed and it doesn't cherry coat your excuses. It's right there in black and white and red( that's the fat folks) haha. Everyone was kind, professional and helpful. I had a very successful treatment at PNT. My nagging shin splints had prevented me from being able to run for more than 5 minutes without pain. I knew I needed to do something quick before the shin splints got any worse. After the 20 session treatment, I can now say I am shin splint free. I have been able to play basketball and run at a higher level because I am no longer reliant on ibuprofen or ice to subdue the constant pain. Very helpful. I sprained my MCL and after 10 days of treatment I felt fully recovered. The doctor told me it would take at least 4 weeks to recover from this injury. The therapists were very professional and did a great job of quickly getting me back to full health. They use the ARPwave machine. I had heard great results about it before but was a little skeptical. Well, let me just say, it's the real deal! I was able to re-train my muscles and strengthen them to perfection. These guys are great. I had shoulder surgery in July of 2009 and as a two sport athlete I had re injured it a couple times post-surgery. After my sports career ending in 2011, I had been suffering from shoulder pain and stiffness almost every day for 4 years. I would try to workout as often as I could but was never getting results due to the pain and stiffness in my shoulder. I have had a tear in my knee (Both Meniscus) for a few years where the pain was getting to a point where surgery was coming again. I went into Pacific Neuro Therapy and had treatment on my knee for about a month and I've been pain free since the middle of the therapy. I haven't been able to say in years. Pacific Neuro Therapy is an amazing place to rehab your injuries. Since 2013, I have had a torn labrum in my shoulder as well as sciatica in my hip. I had 26 sessions at Pacific Neuro Therapy and now I have no pain at all in my shoulder and hip. I can feel how much more stable and functional both of those joints have become.
