This school has definitely got issue's when it comes to their drop off and pick up procedures. Maybe they could recruit Chick-filA employees to better run that drop off line. It's a joke. The parent's driving should be held accountable for their bad driving, speeding thru the crosswalks, getting out of their cars and dressing their children blocking the lines, stopping in the 1st lane halfway between buildings to let their kid out, then expect someone to just let them cross over 2 more lanes to leave. They do what they want. I can't support a school, when they clearly cannot grasp the concept of Drop off and Pick up. I've moved my children to another school.

We ask that you evaluate this teacher's attitude when she is in class with the students. The manner in which she speaks to them radiates frustration and anger, I don't speak to my children in the tone she does and they certainly don't deserve it from their teacher. These are very young children and some fragile, as such they shouldn't be berated for simple errors. We are all playing a part in shaping their futures and her toxic attitude does not help shape them in a positive manner. Take a moment and listen in on her lessons and you'll plainly notice that she's not in the right profession.

Front office…read moreis extremely unorganized especially when any type of play, graduation, or activities are going on! Main reason I am giving this school a 2 out of 5 is the breakfast! I walked my kids to school a few times and was ready to sit and eat with them before school started but was surprised when I came to find that "breakfast" is a few "stands" throughout the school where you stand in line and grab cereal or if you're lucky a breakfast sandwich and eat it on your way to the classroom. I'm not too old 28 to be exact but when I attended school and had free breakfast we ate in the cafeteria and it was our choice of hot food I.e. sausage biscuit or cold as in cereal! And you knew when the bell rand to get to class! Now I understand they are elementary students but I did it at their age and the teachers told us when it was time to go to class! I was appalled by the breakfast system! Never had the chance to experience lunch fortunately! But I will say the teachers were good! Specifically 5th and 3rd grad teachers! The front office has a locking mechanism that definitely is annoying but I understand the safety issues! The officer for this school is good! He's one of the reasons this isn't a 1 star! Parking is crazy and the location is OK but the road the school is located on is unforgiving when dropping off your kids!

I don't feel like my son was learning anything while he attended and the behavior of a lot of the students in atrocious. My son came home with stories that made me cringe. The teacher seemed to put forth zero effort and I frequently received newsletters and permission slips days to weeks after they were due. Progress updates were non existent. There was no organization in the classroom or at pick up and drop off. There was also virtually no school functions like dances, festivals or award ceremonies. My child now attends a different local elementary school and I am 100% happier and so is my son. This probably isn't the worst school in the county but I would never consider sending my kid here again.

I will be the first to review this school on Yelp. Maybe that is a good thing…read more I will start by saying, I really do not care for any of the schools in South Hillsborough County. What were once A rated schools have dropped to C and other insane things go on. In fact-i have 2 of my kids (the last one is too young) in schools in South Tampa! So I enrolled my middle child in this school for the Summer VPK program. Initially, going there to drop off the voucher (which I want to state for the record, is a stupid system. There are better ways to keep track of things), it was a little unorganized and the woman at the front desk...well, let's just say I am thrilled I didn't have to deal with her past that point (nice but not attentive and made me wait while she was outside making small talk with a parent she knew). Once we were in, I was very pleased. The other lady in the office (the younger one) was very pleasant-always greeted you when you enter the office or in passing on campus. First day of VPK, we were late and when we got there, we were given a tour by a kind teacher. Our VPK teacher, who is a Kindergarten teacher there, was very nice. She always updated me on my child and seemed on top of things. She had her room all set up and prepared for teaching. The campus seems small, I really didn't venture past the Kindergarten hallway. Cute little garden in the middle of the property. Location is convenient and yet also it's pitfall as it is close to Clairemel and not quite a desirable area-but exact location of this school is good-close to Brandon and other things, close to freeway and expressway. The middle school is also right next door so it's convenient if you have a child in elementary and middle, I saw some lousy ratings on Google for this school which are unfair. They didn't write much or anything at all as to why they gave the school a bad rating. Overall my daughter enjoyed her summer there and I have no complaints!

Most homeworks are done online where help is available to the child. The principal, assistant principal, teachers are all extremely welcome and there is an open door policy. The school is in a very safe neighborhood and the school is packed with cameras, which is amazing for the safety of the children. Unfortunately a charter school isn't for everyone. If you can't learn to follow RULES this school would not be a good match. If you like to socialize, engage with the child's education and volunteer then this is definitely a great school. Charter schools operating as for-profit real estate schemes are draining money meant for students…read moreand teachers. Florida, it's time to pay attention. A recent analysis of Education Management Organizations (EMOs) operating in Florida uncovered a striking example: a charter firm and its construction partner sold two newly built schools to their affiliated real estate partner -- one for just $1, the other for $10. Once the real estate firm took over the leases, it raised the rent on the school that sold for $1 all the way up to $1,325,666 per year. That's public education money -- money meant for classrooms, teachers, and students -- flowing straight into a related company's pocket through an inflated lease. Florida taxpayers deserve to know where their school dollars are actually going.

Try to get an understanding of what the kids are learning? Good luck! No agendas, no weekly communication, nothing. My child has tried harming herself and had to be put in therapy because of the bullying she has received at this school! I am fed up. Please, please if you love your children DO NOT PUT THEM IN THIS SCHOOL.
