We had many teachers leave during the year, there was limited opportunities for art and No music programs for middle school. I volunteered here for a 6th school dance, and witnessed the lack of disrespect and damages toward school property. The teachers allowed music to be streamed via laptop and it even included explicit lyrics. I spent most of the night chasing kids to stop them from breaking glow sticks to flock the neon gel on themselves or school property. Trying to leave the venue aka cafeteria to explore classrooms above. This school has great security to keep people, parents out but lacks insight on properly supporting discipline procedures within their own staffing. There is athletics in the form of basketball and soccer as well as cheerleading. Those departments are not could not offer a regular words and celebrations or recognition at the end of the season unless a parent rally's to create a board. Or privately funded by parents. In middle school the children were instructed to read from an online program that was limited in content. No actual books were encouraged. And that may be teacher discretion. Many parents aren't as involved here since there is a monopoly of the same parents signing up for things. Many working parents do not get a fair opportunity to volunteer, unless planned months in advance or there is some consideration toward voting for times to release sign ups hour. A lot of the happy reviews reflect elementary experiences. Since those kids aren't as much of a concern and have years for Waterset charter to fix or mold those curriculums.

I remember crying in my moms bathroom because she wrote a note asking for me to go back down to 2 grade and my mom explaining she is doing it because she doesnt want me to be yelled at by her or upset after school because she was being bitchy to me! I was 9! 9!!! and dealing with such a devil! Laughed at me when I cried or pushed me to move faster in the hallways. She is lucky I was young and innocent if it was now I would have yelled at her back and attack. After I went back a grade because of her she did anything to pick on me in the hallways. I hope she burns in hell with her career. Now done about the teacher I wanna talk about the kids. I was bullied and beat on the play ground by 4 older kids and no one did ANYTHING! THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO SPEAK ABOUT IT WITH A TEACHER! IT WAS "YOUR FINE" OR "TATTLE TAIL" Thinking about what I went through kills me breaks me down in tears. I chopped my hair off out of anger that school made me upset with myself kids made me think I was ugly. I WAS HIDING UNDER A PURPLE JACKET FOR 2 YEARS BECAUSE THEY MADE ME HATE MY BODY. We ask that you evaluate this teacher's attitude when she is in class with the students. The manner in which she speaks to them radiates frustration and anger, I don't speak to my children in the tone she does and they certainly don't deserve it from their teacher. These are very young children and some fragile, as such they shouldn't be berated for simple errors. We are all playing a part in shaping their futures and her toxic attitude does not help shape them in a positive manner. Take a moment and listen in on her lessons and you'll plainly notice that she's not in the right profession.

They both had great teachers who not only were great at their jobs but also cared about them. We never had issues on bullying or anything that concerned us. My oldest finished elementary there and when we were headed to middle school, we decided to give a nearby charter a try. So I took both boys (oldest to 6th grade) and little one for 2nd grade to a nearby charter school. There were lots of ups and downs from the new school but I figured we'd give them a shot since it was their first year open. Well...we are now back at Cypress creek with my 2nd grader. We couldn't even finish this school year at the charter school. The lack of communication from the majority of the teachers and some of the administration at the charter school was horrible. I never experienced this before with other teachers. Second grade teacher was not bad at all but middle school was just horrible there. We are so happy to be back at cypress creek and everyone was excited to see us back. I love their office staff and teachers. My 2nd grader is so happy to go to school now and be back with his friends. My oldest attends another school but he is also happy. I want to thank everyone at cypress creek for being so loving and caring so much for my children. I feel so relief now to have my boys happy where they are. If your child is going to be new at cypress creek, give them a try before judging them. No school is perfect. But this school is full of loving people who will care about your children. Also, get involved with events. Join the PTA. Participate and volunteer. You won't regret it!

What were once A rated schools have dropped to C and other insane things go on. In fact-i have 2 of my kids (the last one is too young) in schools in South Tampa! So I enrolled my middle child in this school for the Summer VPK program. Initially, going there to drop off the voucher (which I want to state for the record, is a stupid system. There are better ways to keep track of things), it was a little unorganized and the woman at the front desk...well, let's just say I am thrilled I didn't have to deal with her past that point (nice but not attentive and made me wait while she was outside making small talk with a parent she knew). Once we were in, I was very pleased. The other lady in the office (the younger one) was very pleasant-always greeted you when you enter the office or in passing on campus. First day of VPK, we were late and when we got there, we were given a tour by a kind teacher. Our VPK teacher, who is a Kindergarten teacher there, was very nice. She always updated me on my child and seemed on top of things. She had her room all set up and prepared for teaching. The campus seems small, I really didn't venture past the Kindergarten hallway. Cute little garden in the middle of the property. Location is convenient and yet also it's pitfall as it is close to Clairemel and not quite a desirable area-but exact location of this school is good-close to Brandon and other things, close to freeway and expressway. The middle school is also right next door so it's convenient if you have a child in elementary and middle, I saw some lousy ratings on Google for this school which are unfair. They didn't write much or anything at all as to why they gave the school a bad rating. Overall my daughter enjoyed her summer there and I have no complaints!
