So I did some searching online for information about this place so I could clue myself in before I ventured there. The little that I could find while doing a quick search painted this place to be a 'hillbilly heaven' (seriously, look it up, the article that was written with that title seems to no longer exist on the net). Lots and lots of negative things were and are said about this place to this day. Maybe it was because of their older location, which sadly burned to the ground a few years back. Their new location is now in the remnants of the old Laurel Mall outside of Connellsville, PA. It makes me sad that I couldn't experience this place in it's old glory. Even if people had described it as dirty and uninviting at times. Sometimes you find the best buys in a place like that, and also you shouldn't judge a place just by the look of it. We arrived at a decent time and even though it was the first of the month we did not run into any of the first of the month crowd as we were warned about. Although most people say this is a great place to find a great deal, it's really just another super market. The prices aren't always cheaper here. I ended up spending $50 and came out of there carrying what I would have if I had gone to Giant Eagle. One huge plus is that their selection goes above and beyond what most stores carry. I was able to find it easily too. Their specialty sections are amazing as well. I mean I was just standing in front of the bakery case looking at items on the shelves and was asked by several employees if I needed anything. They do take coupons, good thing. But still the prices aren't always that great.

And I remember the cockroach I saw there one time that turned my stomach and made me refuse to eat another bite of food there, even though my parents both said I was just imagining things. I know I wasn't. This place should've been shut down long before it burned down... As for the current grocery store... In the single time I was there, it was more expensive than almost any grocery store I'd normally frequent in this area. It wasn't as dirty, at least, but I wouldn't go back again.

Any business can stock their shelves with endless merchandise, but very few can back up their products and services with the level of knowledge and dedicated service found underneath this roof. Its usually my go- to for screen repairs and replacement. Other services include key- making, glass cutting, equipment rentals, small engine repair and so on. This family owned business is an asset to the community and a refreshing alternative to chain box stores. Consistent staff and consistent service is obviously key to their longevity.

Bought a brand new Rheem Hot Water Heater from Home Depot today. Installed it and it will not…read morelight. Find out it has a known defect. Home Depot will not take it back. If we try to fix it ourselves, it voids the warranty. No customer service for Rheem available until tomorrow C.T. What a nightmare!!! Shame on Home Depot and Rheem. The water heater should have been recalled. Now we have a family of six, one pregnant, who have NO HOT WATER.

Mikel was our cashier with his friendly smile and polite attitude. It wasn't just because he was in air conditioning on a hot day because later he was in the garden area as a cashier. I didn't mention it was 90 degrees this day but out to the lumber yard Clayton rescued us and not only help us load the lumber but he took the loader over and picked up the 60 lbs bags of concrete and loaded them so we didn't have to drive our truck. Duncan and Bryan T. also impressed us with their friendly help and really made our shopping experience delightful. Although known of them accepted my offer to help build our deck they took that suggested with laughter. The value even without the 11% rebate was better than in our area on this date but sometimes the dollar talks in this case the staff will also be why we will return.
