The shop sells imported things - too many items to list but especially ethnic-y jewellery and sequined cushion covers and throws. I usually find brilliant stocking fillers here but it is also great for larger items like wooden frames, even furniture! The shop itself is situated in an old cottage and as you explore each room you come across new treasures - definitely recommended!

I discovered them through The House of Bruar because they carry some of the Seasalt brand. I picked these jute bags because they are adorable! They carry a lot of weight, they're roomy, have a strong handle and is smooth on the hand; not scratchy. And they're adorable because of the sea coast themes. When I opened the bag, ooooh, I could smell the jute fibers,....awesome! That made my morning!! Some of these bags were as low as just £2!! So that covers the increased USD/GBP conversion. Shipping is pretty standard at about $15 overseas. They offer great clothes, and I especially love their rain coats and rain boots. They have an awesome seafare feel to them.

The clothes are beautiful - more classic than high fashion but perfect for the surfing, chilled out casualness of Cornwall. Pretty dresses, tops and jackets, etc and also men's stuff too. The sale was also on when I was in (first week in Sept). Not cheap - prices probably around the same as White Stuff or Fat Face and similar types of clothing (though not as many weird designs as the other two at times). Well worth a visit and I'm planning to return having cleaned out my wardrobe and my bank account in preparation!

Just out of the centre of Wadebridge is J Shoes, a large store with a wide variety of top quality…read morebrands. The large glass front of the shop tempts you in with both the quality of the shoes on offer, as well as some notable reductions too. Inside the variety is almost bewildering, famous brands like Converse, Dr Marten, Moshulu, amongst many others. Sandals predominate the window displays due to the rash of hot weather, but boots, wellies and shoes are all catered for in the rest of this expansive store. A great store, with attentive staff and some good savings to be had.

They made such a difference to the quality of a visitor's experience when visiting Boscastle, with improved stock, wonderful staff, and superb hand crafted shelving and open and closed sign. The major trough was clearly the famous flood of several summers ago. Hopefully the shop will recover, although obviously never reach the dizzy heights of the early 2000s. Art is there to be appreciated and bought; long may the picture parlour thrive in these uncertain times.

When we went in last year, we found the guy who owns the shop and designs and makes all the products (and has done so for over 20yrs) a really friendly, open and interesting person. He was passionate about his work and even explained some of the processes used to get the unique effects of colour fades and raised designs on the leather. He invented these processes himself which is why his products have such a characteristic style that you just don't see anywhere else -because no-one else is using those processes. We live in London and just occasionally see someone with one of his bags or other pieces and always know immediately that its one of his because they are just so unique and unmistakeable in style. I notice that another Yelp user had a bad experience in this shop several years ago and can only assume that either someone else was looking after the shop for some reason at that time, or perhaps she misunderstood whatever was said to her due to a cultural or language gap!
