The receptionist had me on the waitlist for a sooner appointment and I was able to call me and get in weeks sooner than my scheduled appointment due to a cancellation. I love how she answers the phone and there's no robot "press 1 for this and 2 for that" to try to get through to someone. The hygienist was amazing. So friendly and gentle on my teeth. The best cleaning I've ever had in my 32 years! She spent a lot of time with me doing a really thorough and detailed job. I usually dislike going to the dentist because it's uncomfortable and I hate the sucker thingy but I had no anxiety or anything here. The dentist was also great! He came in towards the end of the cleaning to check my X-rays and check all my teeth, and discuss any dental concerns I had. Overall, it was clearly wonderful. I didn't feel rushed through at all and they have excellent covid procedures to stay safe for the staff and for the patients. If you're looking for a dentist in Colorado don't waste your time calling around, this is the place to go!

They made transferring the paper work from my dentist back in Texas so easy. They were very open to working with my busy schedule, and they call me/send reminders a couple days before my appointment (which I really appreciate because I would forget) . Everyone that works there is so friendly I don't dread going to the dentist at all any more. I've gotten a root canal, several cavities filled, as well as a cleaning and it is always painless and the recovery (if there is any) is always super easy. This dental practice is not what it used to be over 10 years ago. Dr. Wuerker has lost all interpersonal skills. I was an idiot for giving him a second chance. After walking around to cool down, I found a homeless guy who lives behind the FNB who offered me a cleaning and he did a wonderful job. Yeah his hands were a bit more shakey than Dr. Wuerker but he gives you a little hi chew when you're done so it works itself out in the end. He also accepted many payment methods including multiple brands of cigarettes (open and unopened!) Dr. Wuerker has a cool dog that gave me a boop outside when I needed it so thankful for that small moment but that's about it. Find another practice. Save yourself a TON of stress and $$$. They get you in the door then will drop all the extra $$$ during the visit when none was discussed on phone. Second time. I wish the dog well but that's about it. In truth that was my last time trying to go any dentist. I've given up on all hope at this point which shatters me.

One day, while sitting in the waiting room, Cown's wife came over to me and told me that the staff "appreciated me". I stood up and walked over to her and, giving her a shoulder hug (you know what that is, don't you? . . . standing next to her, I hugged her shoulders). Somehow, he saw this on video, maybe, or maybe one of his staff mentioned it to him. I don't know. What he did, however, was to etch, slowly and methodically, the back of an upper tooth. He did this after showing me a picture of a previous tooth he had already taken care of (which I *should have* caught, but didn't). After the third pass of etching I JUMPED out of his chair and left the office, muttering something about "psycho dentist", mainly because he mentioned "leaving his wife alone" just before I jumped from the chair. SO. If you're a guy, and you're not smart enought to stay away after reading this review, be DARNED SURE you do NOT speak with "Ellie". SHE is a sweet person and does not deserve this guy for a husband, but she will certainly talk with you, if you dare.

When I got there I asked about that, and was told they were running early. How could they have know that 3 days prior? Then I again verified my expense and was told that Medicare would only pay a small amount and that I would be responsible for the additional charges. I asked what that would be, and was told 'it depends'. I like to know up front how much things will cost before I receive the services. I was unhappy with the reply, and left. They were annoyed and told me the time had been set aside for me.

She only has one other dentist for competition, and that is my childhood dentist, who was just as good. Growing up, I thought all dentists were good with patients, knowledgeable and did their best to make you comfortable. After learning this was not the case, finding someone like Dr. Ray is just awesome. I've been seeing her for close to five years now, both at the CSU clinic and her private practice, and I received the same excellent care. She is also very good at what she does- she often does her own cleanings, is thorough and although I don't want to admit my cavity history, awesome at fillings. I had a previous dentist not give me enough Novocaine, causing some anxiety during this process. She was very understanding and kind and worked with me to make sure I was okay during the entire process. To give you an idea of how much I like her as a dentist, I live in Denver and drive 60 miles to see her. Last year, I attempted another dentist due to some unfortunate dental insurance and he tried to replace a lot of stuff that wasn't needed. Dr. Ray is honest about what you need, and will work with you on your schedule and payments. She told me that I had pulled a ligament and prescribed me high doses of Tylenol and Advil and sent me home. Six months later I was told by another dentist that I had severe bone degeneration because of a failed cavity procedure (done by her) that was infected so bad that it caused an infection which ate through my jaw bone and now I need oral surgery to scrape all of it out and possibly a bone graft! All of this could have been prevented if she had given me an x-ray that day I went in. She would have saw that the previous cavity filling failed and I had a raging infection.
