Brought in for problem clutch freezing and oiler not working. I was told had a bad chain only and everything was ok. Still not oiling...was told another 35 to look at it when they didn't look at the problem the 1st time. Couldn't even give me a price on oiler. Bought a $2000 lawnmower from them. First day I bring it home I have a major oil leak in my garage from it. They said no problem we will fix it, not the stain it left behind though. This is day 1 how can there be issues already? 3 months later the battery goes out I had to replace the battery. 6 months later I now have some sort of belt issue and they want me to pay $50 for it to be looked at. This place is a joke with customer service and their products. If I knew I would have never purchased anything from them. Avoid them at all cost. read more

It is my opinion that this company is used to complaints and seems to be totally oblivious to customer complaints. Dropped off a power washer for a service. Told them we wanted to have the oil changed and the machine tuned up. They charged us a deposit of $35.00 Two weeks later we had not heard anything so we called and was told we were 4th in line. Waited two more weeks and still nothing, so called again and was told they lost our phone number. We were told that they cleaned out the carburetor and if we wanted the oil changed and the spark plug replaced they could do that for an additional $100.00. So we had waited one month and they still had not completed the job. Plus the machine did not even cost that much. We told them we would just come and get the machine. We were charged $101.00. We were not happy and expressed our discontent to the cashier who acted like we told her the weather. No compassion, no empathy, nothing. Totally numb. read more

Wish I had read these 1st. I brought my husquavarna 455 rancher chainsaw in about a month ago. The supply gas line to the bulb started leaking WHILE I WAS CUTTING and I didn't have time to fix it. They had it 2 days charged me $90 and returned the saw stating that it needed a new carb which would cost $230. I told them the saw was still working when I stopped using it because of the leak. She said she had no idea and that it was so expensive because the carb was tricky to take out. Fast forward a month when I had time. I bought a $23 carb and tune up kit from Amazon and in 30 minutes have the saw running and the fuel line replaced again because they failed to put the contamination filter on the end of the line. I have no idea how these guys stay in business and with how easy it was to fix, I'll never go back there. Going to rural king to tell the guys who recommended them to stop. They'll look like idiots as well. I'm not sure if the tech at Spring hill outdoor power is a moron or the whole place are crooks. Anyway a 30 minute $23 job cost me 3 days and $90 extra dollar there. NOT A GOOD REVIEW : Spring Hill Outdoor Power Equipment i've been dealing with SHOPE for years. bought a new Stihl weed wacker years ago, nothing but problems- it was a dog. Gave it away to my neighbor. Recently purchased a new Sthil chain saw from them using a mandatory $30 diagnostic charge credit for an old unit. The chainsaw has trouble starting and during my second use, the chain came off. Brought it back expecting a free repair. However- they said they "had to" sharpen the chain (brand new) in order to check it to be fixed. Didn't make sense to me, but whatever. When I came to pick it up- they wanted to charge me $25 for a sharpening. I refused to pay so they decided to tack on a diagnostic charge of $30. What a great way to loose business. I won't go back ever. They got my sale and diagnostic fee, and that's the last dime they'll get from me. It's all about the money and not about the customer. It's a shame. Beware. read more

Just bought thousands of dollars of equipment brand new and the belt came off the mower.My son picked it up and they charged us 106.00.I went and talked to the owner and his response was he didn't like my s ons attitude.So I went there and owner Bob told me same thing.I said paper work says warranty. They are scamming people out there money and breaking parts and claiming that they are broken once brought in. I brought in two weed eaters and told them to do the spark plugs and they went over me and replaced about 4 different things that I did not ask for! And the lady at the front desk was rude! read more
