Review #2 - sorry to say but after a year of service I have to reduce to 3 stars.....here is why. First year customer so everything was a new experience. Overall, their communication is great - I really didn't have any issues there so one star there. Second star is that when you do call them for a retreatment they do come back out with no questions asked. Third star is that my yard looked as good as it did when I treated it myself so some of what they sprayed/treated helped to keep the yard nice. That's it...my negatives are that my persistent weed problem (creeping charlie) never got resolved - even after multiple resprays. That really was the reason why I hired them and unfortunately that's where they failed. Second lost star was really just for the fact that I had to call to get help, respray, etc. When their techs come out, per the schedule, and can see my weed problem you would think THEY would be proactive to get a spray done or call the office to report what they see.....nope. My (main) problem was never solved so I'm a one season-and-done customer. I will look elsewhere in '22. read more

Stay away from this company, they collect your money and keep sending invoices for absolutely doing nothing to service your property. We ordered the lawn care treatment, as well as, the pest control. What a joke, more weeds this year than any other year. Pest control spray, it's also a joke (perimeter spraying) doesn't do a damn thing. What about the actual outside of the house and patio area? Some days two different people would come on the same day and just walk around the property, then of course another invoice. I feel very taken advantage of. Threatened to be turned over to collections, every week they send me a new bill for something they didn't perform. It's a racket folks, beware! p.s. after reading other testimonials, I see now they probably went through the motions of spraying, but not with the chemicals they were to have since they ran out again! read more

We spent $243 this year for dandelion and weed control (CLOVER). They absolutely did not kill the two patches of clover that we had. Instead we not have at least a dozen large patches of clover. When I called to order, I was told "Oh yes, that treatment will take care of killing the clover" WHAT A JOKE. When I complained they said it was because we did get the full program like many of our neighbors. WHAT THE H_____? No offer to redo or refund. NEVER would I have ever have Spring Touch for ANYTHING!! read more

I tried the service last year but before I began, I asked if I could be notified at least a day before I receive service in case i was planning on mowing, etc; I might have some time to adjust my routine if necessary (this was one of the reasons I quit TruGreen). They assured me this was not a problem but through 5 treatments last year, I got ZERO notifications. This year I got a pre-pay discount notice but I didn't want to continue service because I wasn't happy. I got home today and found that they had performed a treatment anyway (and it turned out to be 2 treatments). I called to complain and was told treatments continue until I cancel, which they said the notices state. Instead it states "If you desire any changes to your program, please contact our office." I didn't realize I still had a program to change but I guess whatever they need to do to milk as much money as they can. read more

I purchased two treatments last year and they auto renewed my account without telling me. So this year I stopped them halfway through a treatment, when I noticed someone roaming around in my backyard. I told them that I didn't want this and didn't ask for it. They then told me that my account was auto renewed. I informed them that I do NOT want anymore services. I was stupid enough to pay them for that service that I did not order. A month later, they came out AGAIN and I had to stop them AGAIN. At this point, this is extortion. Do NOT go with this company. There are many others out there that provide a similar service. read more

I spent $238 this year to have Spring Touch service my yard. They killed some weeds, so now I have a lot of dead patches. I also now have a quack grass infestation covering my entire backyard which wasn't there before that they told me they do not treat. They told me I'm on my own to deal with it and recommended that I go get some Round Up as that's the only thing that kills it. My yard looks worse than it did before I hired them and I'm out $238! read more

Unsolicited service. They keep coming back even after they have been told to stop their services. They felt that they had the right to startservices this year because I did not respond to a flyer they sent over winter. Apparently, the flyer needed to be opened and a card returned telling them to discontinue lawn care. I have emailed them twice and called them once to stop services. They simply ignore my requests. They are like lice you just can't get rid of them. I am now planning on consulting an attorney DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

We had been loyal customers of Spring Touch for several years. This year, on the day we were scheduled to be serviced, they "ran out of product" while doing our neighbors yard who we had referred to Spring Touch. When I noticed our yard was skipped, I called and left a message asking why. The next day after not receiving a call back, I called again and was told that their technicians ran out of product and they would put an ASAP on our account. The next day, I noticed they had been through our neighborhood and had serviced a few more of our neighbors. When I called back again I was told that they would get to us the next time they were in the area, weather permitting. When a long time customer has their first service application skipped, don't inform you they skipped your service then they don't return a phone call to explain why and then skip over you again the next day when they are back in the neighborhood and then the manager can't give you a definitive answer when they will provide the service you have already paid for and doesn't provide any resolution or compensate for not providing the service you paid for, it's called TAKING YOUR LONG TIME CUSTOMERS FOR GRANTED. Incredibly disappointed. Spring Touch said they would refund our money but not holding my breath. I'll be posting this on our HOA pages as well. read more

Worst company ever! Do not use this service. They are robbing you blind and when you have an issue, they do not call you back or respond to any of your requests. 3 years of service with this company and my lawn was still not green and full of weeds.. They can't find your property line and must not care about their customers in any fashion. Called to cancel my service after they killed a large portion of my grass only to be billed over and over and emailed bill after bill. Try any company but this company. Tried to reach a manager 3 times only to be ghosted and no return call. You would think they would not want bad reviews but even the owner's email bounces back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I switched to a new service and after only 2 treatments, I now have the green lawn I was paying Spring Touch to try and get for 3 years. What a joke. read more

I used their service for a number of years but just quit. They were never able to control the creeping Charlie they promised they could. Then a price increase along with added services added onto my bill. After discussions and agreement that they were only raising their prices 3% i pointed out they were raising mine 16%. She then said that is because they were taking away a discount i had been receiving. So she was selling my 16% increase as 3%. That was enough. I signed up with them because the previous owner had a contract with them and the lawn looked good. There was a lot of work I wanted to do on the house and dealing with the lawn was not something I wanted to deal with, big mistake! The first service was to spray the lawn for weeds, which they did and then some! The tech sprayed a beautiful patch of about thirty ferns, they are now dead! Before any one responds ( That's you Spring Touch ), there is a two and a half foot picket fence separating my yard from my neighbors and they have a bed of ferns within twelve inches on mine and they are perfectly healthy! Prepare to be ripped off. And, once you sign up, they believe they've got you, for life. Holy Crap! Where to start. First, why can't we provide zero stars? Anyway, on with Spring Touch. Last year I signed up for an overseeding treatment in the spring and a "liquid aeration" treatment in the fall. Those treatments only made matters much worse in our backyard. Grass simply will no longer grow where it did just over a year ago. OK. Fool me once...right? No! Not nearly so lucky! The fine print of the invoice they send states, "This agreement will remain in force for a period of one year" OK. No worries, right? BUT, it goes on to say, "and will be renewed automatically for successive one-year terms thereafter." Anyone for a SCAM salad? I didn't think so. Oh, and don't bother trying to call to cancel your agreement. "This agreement may be cancelled at any time by either party by written notice." Believe me, they will NEVER cancel this agreement. It is their goose that lays golden eggs, in perpetuity. They will continue to "service" you forever. Written notice? Welcome back to 1963! So, nearly a year after our last "service", they showed up today, unannounced and "serviced" our lawn with another "liquid aeration". Out of curiosity, I Googled "liquid aeration." Bob Vila doesn't have an axe to grind with anybody providing a lawn service, right? They do a good job of covering the entire lawn--even in some of the tougher to reach areas. Our lawn has been weed-free for a couple of years now. I'd still prefer some advanced notice, so I can be sure to mow before they arrive. The technicians are always professional and leave clear descriptions of the services they've performed. read more

I have used Spring Touch Lawn service for all of my fertilizing, weed control, and mosquito control. My lawn is nearly weed free, the only place I have anything less than perfection is highly shaded areas and areas of poor soil or extremely heavy traffic. Nick Rosburg is my technician has done an excellent job with the treatments on a continuing basis. I appreciate his hard work. When dealing with customer service I've always been treated courteously by friendly staff. read more

Avoid! They are cheap for a reason! First application they burnt my yard is 6 different spots, it was so bad that they tried seeding it several times and it won't take! Then tore up my yard with the next application! And burnt it again!!!! Never again! Was messaged on here to call so They can resolve my problem or give me a refund. I get the same guy again Doug! who is the only customer service person there and his worthless! asked to speak to a manager he said he talked to the manager, (because I can't speak to him) and they can't do anything for me because I didn't complete the service. why would I complete the service when you're wrecking my yard? If you want a company that only sprays the front lawn after they break the gate to your back Way overpriced. They would show up randomly, work for literally 3 minutes and bill 50$. I watched them break my gate and not spray my back yard. Upon communication with them they stated that they would give me a $150 credit. A month later I got a bill from collections. We had an application on 8-5-2020 by Chase. It went very well. He was efficient and got the job done. There are several neighbors that also have Spring Touch so it works well when we are all scheduled on the same day. We have been very pleased with the service and product in the past few years that we have had Spring Touch take care of our yard. I appreciate the phone call the day prior even though we don't have animals that would be outside, it is just nice to know when they are applying product. read more

I paid in full for a 3 acre service. Over $1200.00. I received a automated call stating they will be servicing my yard the next day, please keep your animal locked up. They never showed. The next day the exact same automated message...again no show. 4 days in a row before I finally call and ask what is going on. Many apologies and a guaranteed service the following day. AGAIN they didn't show. I called very irritated saying my animals have been locked up for near a week. His response was "oh...so you cant just let them out for a little bit then put them back in?. I told him they are free range chickens they don't answer to "please come back in now the yard guys are here". We both were mad so I said let me talk to an owner. Its been 5 weeks now with no response and 2 request from me. I'm am ignored. I requested my money back and they charged me a $30 cancellation fee! I booked with Tru Green for 3 times the money but they do what they say they are going to do. Spring Touch is so incompetent they can't even get me off the email list! They signed me up for the service and I never even signed up for it and then we called to resolve the issue and then they sent us to the collection agency do not do business with these people they are a horrible business. They even sent me letters to sign up and I never returned them yet they applied fertilizer to my lawn without consent. That is trespassing. I decided to sign up for the service since my brother in law recommended them. My lawn was a haven of creeping charlie. This is my first year and now my lawn is beautiful and green. I had to resow some spots after the undesirables were gone. But it has recovered nicely. Just signed up for a fall aeration as well. great service. Will continue the service next year. read more

I contracted with Springtouch in 2018 and the service was fine. Fast forward to 2019 I did NOT call them to come out but they proceeded to come out and spray the yard and send bills. I very foolishly ignored the bills because I had never called them in 2019. They threatened to send the bill to collections. I paid it to be done with them and the harassment only to have them show up unauthorized again and bill me again. I may have to take legal action to get them to finally get the message. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

Although I have made repeated requests in person to the applicators and 3 calls to the office, Spring Touch Lawn and Pest Control does not notify me before they arrive so I can open the back gate and remove my pets. The only reason I have even received any services is because I work from home on occasion and happened to be here the days they have arrived (with the exception of one.) My last phone call to the manager, I was assured that I would receive a personal phone call notifying me of my scheduled service. I'm sorry to say that they arrived today without notification again. I wish to cancel the balance of my contract and want assurance that my contract will not auto renew next year so I can go back to Tru-Green where I did not have this issue. Thanks. read more

Run from this service, we had a contract for mosquito spraying and lawn service. They sprayed for mosquitos right before a rain storm to fulfill the contract and did it right before a storm because it fit their schedule. Rain washes away the chemical so it did no good. We had a graduation with many mosquitoes. We complained and they offered to respray for free. We said ok but canceled our contact because of this and other issues with the service. They charged for respray because we were not under contract any longer after they commited to reapply the mosquito spray at no charge (not telling us upfront that they would charge for the reapply). Not the best customer service or business ethics. read more

They are the worst lawn care company in Southern Minnesota. They arrived at my home and performed a 538.00 service that I never authorized. They were rude from the owner all the down to the bottom when we made phone calls to get it resolved. The owner also told my wife he would call her back and that was three months ago. I did put it a dispute with my credit card company and it was ruled in my favor. We also had a creeping charlie problem and I was told it would be taken care of, but it was not. I went to Amazon and bought a product called Weedzone. The problem was resolved. I would recommend using other lawn service providers. They are a headache. read more

I have been using Spring Touch for my lawn service since 1996. My lawn looks great. I also have been using their snow removal for the past 11yrs. They do an excellent job of clearing my driveway and sidewalks. Definitely would recommend both services. read more
