All the staff were dedicated to the learning of the children. There was quite a turnover of kids due to the army families but this didn't make a difference to the school on a whole. There is a couple of play areas and a big adventure play park which the classes used to take in turn to use. I spent quite a lot of time in school helping out on the PC's teaching the children how to log on to the Internet. The classes were not over sized at the time my children were here there was approximately 20-25 children in a class. Overall this is an excellent school that I would recommend to anyone.

The school focusses on allowing the children to make the best of their skills, whether that is academic, practical etc. The feel of the place is superb - fun and relaxed and a number of gap year studentds return to support the sports department in their gap year. The teachers are approachable and it's a great place to be. It is run with a chrustian tradition, but supports children from all faiths. It is known for it's particular excellence in rugby and cricket and hosts the National Schools Rugby festival each october. It really is a superb place for all.

Instead there's a short cut on Uplands way which everyone uses. There used to be a shop by this entrance which has sine returned to being just a house. The school has a large concrete play ground with mobile teaching units. The most recent building was the language and science department.
