I took the rent receipt his brother provided and notarized copies of my check that had paid the rent; to court I had appeared on the news 3 times about repairs he refused to make. A dishwasher that had broken down for more than a year; it had a dark black rancid water inside, which the reporter said, "be glad that this is not smell a vision,." showed it. A week later I took that to the dumpster myself. The second news story showed the drain hole in front of apartment 1, and I stepped into the water, which went above my ankle, and mentioned that if it rained hard it went into my apartment. When we went inside, they noticed the flying bug zapper. There was an extreme problem with flying bugs. 3 bugs got zapped while they were there that time. The third news story showed how there was a four foot hole in my shower wall that was not repaired, but I had put a large garbage covering the hole, and holding it up with (what else but;) duct tape. That was there for the last 2 years I lived there. I visited friends in another apartment where there was a hole between 2 apartments bedrooms. Neither occupants likes that "view." and both tenants had put up garbage bags to block the views. The ONLY time there are improvements made, is when he tried to sell the buildings. He even had the gall to rent a place that he did not own. He lost over 200 properties from bank foreclosures. And, for some unknown reason, even his own girlfriend had shot him! Everything I have stated was on the TV news and in the papers. I will call him a slumlord because he deserves it.
