HIGHLY recommended, the window lighting is outstanding and the black out windows allow you to go completely dark for studio lighting

WOW! what a place. First let me start off with the front desk! Extremely friendly and inviting. The check in process - Flawless! very clean entry, eating area and elevators! YES elevators smelled beautifully! and we clean! NO DUST! the room has living area with a couch that dubs as a bed. The sitting are has a nice HD TV with dividing glass partitions. The bed is Huge and extremely comfortable. The window HUGE and lets a lot of natural light in! the closets are a bit tiny if you staying there a month, otherwise - PERECT! and the Bathroom! EXTREMELY bright and beautifully laid out. the Toilet is on one side away from the Sink/Shower area. Speaking of shower, WOW! so comfy and CLEAN! As you can see Cleanliness is KEY here.. I highly recommend for leisure, or business (to my fellow photographers). Make sure you get the KING suite and if shooting after noon, get the room facing WEST or EAST in the AM. You will not be disappointed.

Terrific hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. We had two rooms, and both were excellent, clean and well appointed. Very large King suites have office, living room, kitchenette and big screen TV with on demand HBO, and Netflix. Fantastic amenity options. We had a short drive traveling to our next hotel, and requested and were granted a late check-out. Everything about the stay was great, with the exception of minimal healthy breakfast offerings. Access is a little weird hidden behind access street buildings, but once you navigate once, you are good to go. Definitely would stay here again when I am in the area.

The 'bartender'' charged me $30 for (I'm guessing' well vodka) when I asked for 4 shots. This cup isn't even 6" tall (for reference).

My daughter & grandson live in Mansfield & so when we travel from FL we've generally been very happy with this Springhill Suites. We're also Bonvoy members so it just suits our travel needs. This visit, however, has been just a little less than stellar, unfortunately. The night we arrived the 1st room we were given keys to smelled of stale cigarettes - we asked for another room. The 2nd room smelled better but the bed isn't as comfortable as we've slept on - I can feel the springs - but whatever. Needed a toothbrush when my grandson left his & was given one also the night we arrived. Breakfast the next morning was lovely! At this writing, we are on night 3 of 4 night stay. After dinner we came entered the lobby before 10pm (it's Friday & in the past there have been patrons in the bar area) & the girl working the bar was closing out as there were no customers. I asked if it was possible to just get 4 shots of vodka as we had purchased a mixer earlier in our day of shopping. My mistake was not taking her up on her option of putting said shots in individual cups b/c she literally filled a small plastic cup about 1/4 full, handed it to me & then charged me $28 plus tax. Basically $7 'per shot' but in reality it was maybe 1.5 shots. Then, later when I discovered the ice machine on the 2nd floor wasn't working, I had to go to the 1st floor for ice & told the guy who's been working every night 1. about the ice machine on the 2nd floor & 2. how I was disappointed about the 'bartender's' abilities. He told me her last night will be the next night. Probably a good thing. So one more night & we're hoping it's uneventful. We want to continue to stay here when we travel to Mansfield but time will tell.

May 2026 I don't write many reviews, but if I can prevent…read moresomeone else from making the same mistake I did with this hotel, then I feel like I've done my job. From the moment we checked in around 4 p.m. on 5/8/26, I had a feeling this stay wasn't going to be great. To be clear, I don't expect front desk staff to throw a welcome party or act overly cheerful. I do, however, expect basic adult interaction and courtesy. The woman who checked us in was incredibly cold and unfriendly. The room itself had a decent layout, and the beds were fairly comfortable, but the furniture was absolutely disgusting. There were stains everywhere -- so bad that I wouldn't even let my daughter sit on the couch until I covered it with a sheet. I also found trash sitting openly on one of the chairs, not hidden in a cushion or tucked away, just left there in plain sight. I went back to the front desk to ask for another blanket to cover the chair. The employee returned with a bundled-up blanket from the back room, handed it over without a word or even a smile, and that was that. On Saturday, we had some downtime, so I decided to check out the pool. The walls were covered in green algae. Personally, it didn't completely gross me out since it's no different than swimming in a lake or river, but if cleanliness is important to you, you may want to skip the pool altogether. One thing that wasn't the staff's fault was the road noise from the highway. It was pretty loud throughout the stay, but that's more on the building's design and location than the employees. Checking out Sunday morning was just as unpleasant as check-in. No greeting, no "have a good day," nothing. The employee had a cell phone in one hand while taking the room keys with the other. The one bright spot was the breakfast. It was surprisingly good considering the rest of the experience. The area was clean, well-maintained, and had a solid variety of options. Honestly, that's the only reason this place gets two stars from me.

Before my trip, the hotel was nearly sold out. Staying at this location was especially important because my son and his family live less than five minutes away, allowing me to celebrate my birthday with them. Rather than simply telling me there were no rooms available, Mr. Lamarr Vines took ownership of the situation. Over several days, he worked diligently to find accommodations, kept me informed throughout the process, and ultimately secured an excellent room. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care made all the difference. He even acknowledged my birthday and continued providing exceptional service throughout my stay. It was clear that he truly enjoys helping guests. Having spent my career in leadership and customer service, I recognize when someone consistently exceeds expectations. Mr. Vines represents the very best of Hilton hospitality. In my organization, he would receive our "And Then Some Award" for going above and beyond in every way. I have stayed at this property before, but this visit stood out because of the outstanding service I received. My sincere thanks to Mr. Vines and the entire Hampton Inn & Suites Mansfield team for making my birthday trip such a memorable experience. I look forward to returning.

Letter sent manager.. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!…read more Dear Manager, I am writing to formally request a full refund for the two nights I was charged during my recent stay at your Comfort Inn property. During our stay, several serious issues occurred that made the room unsafe and prevented my family from receiving the lodging services that we paid for. First, the elevator was not working. My cousin, who has cerebral palsy, could not safely use the stairs, especially because the stairway area was dark due to lighting issues. Hotels are required to maintain accessible accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the lack of a functioning elevator created a serious accessibility problem. In addition, one evening the lights in our room stopped working completely. Instead of relocating us to another room with working electrical service, we were provided with an extension cord. An extension cord is not a reasonable accommodation. A reasonable accommodation would have been relocating us to a safe room with working lights and electrical service. The following day there was also a fire involving the microwave in our room. My aunt attempted to help put out the fire and was burned during the incident. The receptionist had to come from the front desk and use a fire extinguisher to put the fire out. I was also informed that breakfast would not be provided because there was no electricity. Breakfast was advertised as part of the stay, and therefore this was another service that was not provided. Additionally, it has repeatedly been stated that the power issues were due to weather conditions. However, during our conversation it was confirmed that the hotel was experiencing an internal electrical problem and was waiting for someone to come out and repair the circuit breaker. I was also told that because it was after hours and the issue occurred over the weekend, it was difficult to find someone to come out immediately. It is important to clarify that this did not appear to be a weather-related outage. There were lights operating at nearby businesses, including the hotel next door, QVC, and the restaurant across the street where we ultimately had to go for breakfast. This indicates that the electrical problem was isolated to your property. For this reason, I respectfully ask that the issue not be attributed to weather conditions. Based on the information provided to me at the time, it was an isolated electrical issue within the hotel. Because of the accessibility issues, electrical failure, the fire incident, and the failure to provide advertised services, the hotel did not provide the lodging services that were paid for. For these reasons, I am requesting a full refund for the two nights of my stay. I am not requesting a credit for a future stay, as I do not intend to return to this property. If this matter cannot be resolved promptly, I will continue pursuing the refund through my bank and through corporate customer relations. I would appreciate your prompt response. Sincerely, Lameka Jenkins

As well as we were told that we would be in non-smoking rooms, and when we first walked in all I could smell was smoke. So as I go and set my 2 month old son down on the bed I see holes in our bed spreed, cracks in the tile floor that could cut someone, burns on the tub from cigarettes, the door to the bathroom would not close properly. As well as moving the bed to look behind it there was trash that had not been cleaned up, weed particles that were left over on the bible in the drawer, a white tiger capsule package along with the capsule behind the TV stand. Our friends rooms were almost the exact same way and we have pictures to prove if need be. I do not recommend this place what so ever because of the appearance of the place along with the staff isn't even willing to work with someone who leaves their phone in the room- so I had to drive 6 hr round trip just to go back up and get my phone.
