The location worked well for exploring the area and served as a convenient stop on my trip. I slept through the night with no noises that bothered me. I would have preferred a ground room floor but ended up on the second floor. It wasn't a major issue, but a ground-floor room would have been my preference. My only real suggestion would be to offer breakfast on-site. Having breakfast available before heading out for a day of riding would have been a nice convenience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again on a future motorcycle trip.

The inn is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and site seeing. Some within walking distance and some just a short drive. The Inn is quaint, the beds comfortable (we stayed in the Queen Victoria Room) and our breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend staying at the King George Inn.

The sofa beds were made up as requested, with a bottle of anniversary champagne for our son & daughter-in-law. We had also asked for a microwave (not standard in the hotel), but we did not get one. We had 5 grandchildren who really wanted a popcorn party after a brief appearance at the wedding reception, so I was a bit disappointed. However, before we returned to the room with the children, a microwave had arrived with a kind note from Gloria (Guest Services Manager)...she had gone to a store & purchased a microwave for our use! Talk about great customer service! And on that note, my multiple email and phone conversations with Madelyn & Candace (Guest Services) were absolutely of the highest caliber of customer service I have ever experienced! They were always so polite, friendly, professional, and beyond helpful...no matter how many questions I asked! I cannot remember who I asked about breakfast (sorry ladies), but one of these 2 awesome employees arranged for complimentary coffee & pastries for all of us who were visiting for the wedding, as the restaurant had just opened that week, but was closed the Monday morning after the wedding. Madelyn & Gloria were both very helpful with issues after I booked & cancelled through Expedia, then reserved directly through the hotel for a better rate. One final note-it was super cool how the old bank had been transformed & repurposed into this wonderful space, and the kids loved exploring & checking out the vaults!
