I fell in love with the venue just by looking at it online but once I reached out and saw it in person I was blown away. It's such a beautiful place and the people are amazing! From Anna, Amanda, and their latest addition Tiffani! They were available to answer our questions (we had plenty) and help us through anything during our planning process. We chose to use their catering for both rehearsal dinner and wedding and everyone greatly enjoyed the meals. Everyone was super kind, friendly, attentive, and helpful. Despite only having met Tiffani twice before the wedding, she was very supportive and seemed to genuinely want to be there to help us. The day of the wedding, there were some slight hiccups but they managed to pull it together and execute the vision we had. One thing that took us by surprise was that despite having a complimentary open bar, guests would be charged for imported beer. During our initial meeting we were told the open bar would include bottom shelf liquor, beers, and seltzers. When asked what the beer selection would be we were told coors, michelobs, modelo, corona, lagunitas and white claws but there was no mention of additional charges for any of those items. I understand imported may be more expensive but it would have been good to know and inform our guests ahead of time rather than finding out during reception. There was a slight mixup with the cross not being setup at our ceremony location, which had been discussed multiple times prior and the day of, but they were able to get it done just before the ceremony started. (not a big deal to me but if you're a Type A bride keep in mind that things can happen.) Another thing that stuck with me was hearing the staff badmouth each other. I was waiting to be taken to the ceremony and they were bad-mouthing their peer which seemed a bit unprofessional. Later on, the staff took pictures in the photobooth, which we encouraged them to do, but only to see some were flipping off the camera. This wasn't a big deal for me but our guests had access to all of the pictures taken that night and it was brought to our attention. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone! When you drive up and see the barn, nothing screams beautiful. Until you walk down the dirt road path to an open grassy field with a meadow and mountains being your wedding ceremony backdrop. It was a hot and sunny day so unless you had an umbrella, then you were sitting underneath in the shade to the side. Nonetheless, it was such a beautiful setting for the wedding we attended. There had to have been electrical outlets available close by. Not 100% sure but the DJ was set up on site so just FYI it's doable. So after the ceremony, we take a short walk to the barn. You'll see stringed lights above an open cocktail reception area. It wasn't utilized the day we went due to the intense heat. It's gorgeous at night time. The main reception was in the barn upstairs. There is a lift that you can take for those who can't do stairs. When you walk through the door, it doesn't look like much. But once you hit the turn to the main area...GORGEOUS. With the very high ceiling, the huge wrought iron chandeliers, crystal chandeliers and drapery just transforms the room completely. This wedding had 150 guests and it was not crowded at all. Tables were spaced out well. There is a bar to the front left side of the barn and a patio area at the total opposite end to enjoy your drinks. Not sure if they serve plated meals but dinner was buffet style. I like it better that way. The guest can choose what they want or don't want. The servers were very diligent in refilling water pitchers. Loved that. Not so much at picking up empty plates though. As a previous event coordinator, I would've said something but the vibe was so chill that no one cared. Except for me lol The food was delicious. We were served Caesar salad, steak cooked medium, chicken cutlets with a light country gravy and mushrooms, asparagus, mashed potatoes and bread roll. The table settings were beautiful. Loved the color scheme of it all! The champagne colored linens went perfectly with the dark brown wooden tables. Everything was perfect and beautiful. If you're looking to have a rustic wedding, this place is it! They know what they're doing here. Parking: An attendant will guide you which direction to go. Another attendant will tell you where to park. It was all along the side fence just steps away from the ceremony site. They have a golf cart and trams to take guests to and from areas. Restrooms: Restroom trailers for both men and women are available on the grounds. Nice and clean. There are 4 other restrooms upstairs in the barn/reception area. 2 at the north end and 2 at the south end. Wifi: Available but mine didn't work as well as others. ***Note: I saw some kids playing on the stairs. At the very top of the staircase is the gate that opens to step onto the lift. The gate only has a side latch. If this is undone, someone could fall straight down. PLEASE WATCH YOUR KIDS!! There is no phone reception for 20/30 minutes through the stretch on the road from the barn to the main roads. And again, it takes 20/30 minutes to get there from the main roads so it would take some time for an ambulance to get there in an emergency. I don't really write reviews, but Springville Ranch truly deserves the recognition. So, this is going to be a lengthy one. When me and my, now, husband were looking for venues, we had a certain vision in mind. We wanted views of nature, bodies of water, and mountains. Springville Ranch definitely checked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations. This was the first and only venue we looked at and booked right then! We thought we were crazy for not looking around but this decision was definitely the right one as they did not disappoint. The have everything you could ever need and if they didn't they were very flexible in working with what you want. They cater, and their food was amazing!! They also had a day-of-the-wedding coordinator. We had Katrina for ours, and she was absolutely amazing! She was very thorough from our rehearsals to the actual ceremony to our grand entrance and the whole entire night! She was very easy to work with and is such a sweetheart! She had answers to all our questions and made me, as the bride, feel at ease which enabled me to just enjoy our big day. I also appreciated that they had golf carts to transport guests to our ceremony location and from there to the barn for the reception. Many people have said that wedding planning is stressful, but boy did we get lucky! Springville Ranch truly had everything we needed and more to make sure that we had the most beautiful wedding we could ever dream of. We just had our wedding here on 09.25.21 and it was a dream come true! The owners were very hospitable and so thoughtful. The entire staff there was just amazing! Katrina was such a hard worker and she really ensured that everything ran smoothly. Both her and Heather were a lot of help. Our ceremony was outdoor by the waterfall and it was the most gorgeous setting. The reception was inside the barn and it felt like a fairy tale!! I had an amazing team of vendors and I really owe it all to them ESP the venue and all the staff. They were my dream team! The location is just mind blowing! It's amazing! The photos online do NOT do Justice! These new owners have done so much remodeling and you have multiple locations to choose from for your ceremony. This is well worth the drive. My guests and I all drove 4 hours to get there and we would do it all over again. The cost was reasonable and everything is on site. I would highly recommend this venue to all engaged couples! I had my wedding here in Nov of 2021. The whole experience was amazing the entire ranch is beautiful and they continue to improve it. I had my ceremony out in the garden and my reception upstairs in the barn. They walked me through the whole entire process and helped eased the stress of planning a wedding. This review is for a wedding I attended and not hosted so it is limited from a guest perspective. Recently my daughter was the maid of honor here. We had the opportunity to attend. The wedding was outside by the lake and later reception hosted below on the barn patio and dinner upstairs inside the barn. First let me say it was a very warm day yet one of the most beautiful settings I've attended. Timely and efficient. Short walk to the barn after and plenty of easy parking. Staff was fully available and carts if needed to transport back and forth. A beautiful spread of charcuterie treats and open bar for reception. Nicely done. Upstairs the barn is air conditioned and a very spacious venue. Staff polite and helpful. We had steak and salmon for dinner. They did do plated although my understanding was this was an exception only. Because of the plates service was slow for those of us waiting. Food on the other hand was tasty and worth the wait. Overall this venue is beautiful and our wedding guests had an amazing time. As a bride however, there were numerous things done wrong, I tried to address these issues that I am going to share below with the venue themselves but it became a "tit for tat" response and they turned around and put everything back on me without even offering an apology or taking accountability. They offered me a $300 refund which is a joke. 1. If you book here, HIRE A DAY OF COORDINATOR! They will tell you that you don't need one, that Debbie will handle everything for you, but trust me that is not the case. Debbie knows the venue, and knows it well. She loves being there and when in person is very knowledgeable. During the course of our planning however, when we would confirm what we were responsible for and what the venue would handle, it seemed to change with every call. From the beginning we felt very taken care of but as the wedding got closer there was no follow up to outstanding questions, response time was non-existent when my mother tried to reach her, and we felt a though we were over promised and things were severely under-delivered. Debbie was stretched way too thin to handle all the things that she promised and I felt as though I was not able to enjoy my getting ready time as things were not as they were supposed to be and I was being asked questions about who goes where when and Debbie was nowhere to be found to coordinate any of that. I found out later that she was actually taking shots in the grooms room with some of the groomsmen. Had things been taken care of this wouldn't be an issue but I find it to be one given we felt not taken care of. 2. My mother and I visited the venue a week before to finalize the details including the format of the reception/wedding. When we knew rain was on the horizon we discussed plan B and what that would look like. The plan B did not go as planned and the reception tables were left in place with only 30 chairs for my guests. We had discussed many times that the tables would be pushed to the sides to make a proper aisle and seating rows for my guests. Additionally, Debbie decided to add two additional tables without our knowledge or approval to account for those people that do not want to sit at the tables I assigned them. I don't believe that was her call to make and we did not have enough decor for the additional tables. I spent hours on my seating chart only for the entire thing to be messed up day of for tables that we did not want nor ask for nor prepare for. All of this caused a domino effect and my reverse candle light ceremony did not come out the way I wanted as the candles were placed in the wrong place due to lack of communication with me that things had been changed so that we could then relay it to those handling the candles. Lastly my bridal party candles were displaced after a groomsmen had set them and DURING OUR CEREMONY I could see my bridal party scrambling to find at least just one for them all to share to get this going. 3. Coordination at the rehearsal and ceremony was lacking as well. I had numerous conversations about how I wanted that to be and who should be at the front and it was as if Debbie had forgotten everything we talked about, I had to be the one to tell people where to sit when I had specifically said I did not want to do that in front of everyone and I needed her to take the lead. During our actual ceremony upstairs, given we did not rehearse that as much as having it outside, my father-in-law was left up at the front with the bridal party during majority of the ceremony because no one told him where to go when he was done playing guitar. My husband had to step away from me during our candle ceremony to tell him to go take his seat once we realized he was still standing there. 4. Most importantly, because of all of the above and the lack of communication my bridal suite and family who were there as guests were completely stressed. My mom was running back and forth trying to figure out what was going on upstairs and unable to get dressed calmly or ready for photos because no one was helping anyone out or answering questions. We had hired someone and paid them to set up our reception beautifully but when you change things last minute like that it's impossible. 5. The owners decided to add a huge ugly banner on the outside of their beautiful barn covering the doors that allow it to open. I have to tell you, it's hideous and it completely ruins the look of the barn. Furthermore, when I signed our contract and discussed plan Bs for rain, one option was to open up those doors to bring the outside in. I asked for that, but because of the banner it could not be done which I found very disheartening as it was yet another thing that was promised and could not be delivered. It was not there when I signed my contract and I felt as though it cheapened the look of the barn. There are more things I can list but Yelp only has so much room. read more
