They let us sit and get comfortable as well as check out their sweet grounds which included 5 vintage camper AirBNB units which we were able to check out while tasting....pretty cool. The wines we had were solid. 2 x white and 2 x red. We also opened up a bottle of Pinot Noir which was really good also! We got a bottle of Cab reserve to go which I'm sure by tasting the others will be awesome! Anyways a great experience from two awesome people! The owner Ilda Vaja is so passionate about it she calls it a very expensive hobby. And I can't imagine what it takes to plant, care for, produce and bottle the wine every year. She was the sole managing person here this particular Friday and man was it such a fun conversation we had. We learned a lot about Tehachapi and how she started it and it is just heart warming to hear the story. She's also the first one to plant and produce a very good Malbec. The tasting consisted of a rosé, Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec. She served this with cheese, crackers and local chocolates! The ranch also has AirBNB rooms so be sure to check out her website for availability. Women owned, local and full of love. You can taste that in the product. During this weekend trip, I also visited 2 other wineries but I can tell you hands down, this was an absolutely memorable stop. I highly recommend stopping by here if you're passing by. I promise you the wine is great, the views and the person behind this winery are phenomenal. We ended up taking home 5 wines. During the week make an appointment. But weekends you can just stop by.

When I sent what I wanted to Debbie, she said it was too big & they could not do it. While I tried to figure something smaller, She e-mailed me a label and asked if it would work. (IT WAS WHAT I ORIGINALLY ASKED FOR!) At that time, they could not deliver wine to Idaho, so I had it shipped to a friend in Reno, & drove there to pick it up. When you give a gift of Personalized wine or Olive Oil, it amazes the receiver, Since 2016, I have ordered countless times, Wine, & Olive Oil. Yesterday my brother received his second case of personalized wine, for a birthday gift & was again floored by it! Over the years, I have sent my relatives wine and Olive Oil. Such great service, scenery was lovely ( a country feel) and the WINE! I ordered a bottle of wine, and my boyfriend got the wine tasting. My friends went for getting glasses of wine which everyone loved their choices. Very tasty selection of food. We got the charcuterie plate which was beautiful and a good size. My favorite was the loaded tater tots with their yummy chili. Next time the smash burger. Another customer ordered it and it looked amazing. The owners were very kind, warm and friendly. We both enjoyed them. The winery was hosting a comedy show and dinner that night, they had only 2 empty tables and a few tickets left, so we snatched them up with a table. Awesome comedy show with 4 comedians including the owner of The Well comedy club in Bakersfield. I was able to meet the owner of the winery, Mike, who was so nice and accommodating. He has great staff who are ready to suggest wines, and serve you. This place is a hidden gem that does it all right there!
