Although they do not righteously call themselves a discount chemist, they do offer many reputable brands at very low prices. It's not a very big chemist, but it is always full stocked and has all the popular items. Customer service is pretty good. There aren't that many customers at this chemist, so prescription service is quite fast. Also because there is no big queue behind me, the pharmacist and I have time to chat about the medication. This personal customer service is the reason I return. They have the time to genuinely help out and give you the advice. Last time I went, I found myself buying some make up I did need plus stocking up on a whole bunch of stuff I did not need, simply because of prices are so good. Some places can be so expensive with beauty products but I find this particular chemist really good value. It is the kind of place where the staff bother to know the names of the regulars and asks how they are. A lady called Debbie was particularly lovely and friendly on my last visit. It is great to see people enjoying what they do and being so bubbly and happy.

What I think makes this chemist stand out from the crowd of many chemists is the fact that every Wednesday there is a Baby Nurse there. She is a lovely hippy trippy lady who used to be a midwife, and does free consultations for your baby provided you book in advance! How cool is that. She even gives your baby a bit of a special massage after to relax bubba for the car trip home. She weights your baby, measures head circumference... examines baby for ailments and answers any questions you might have if you are a clueless new mother like I was and sometimes, still am! She is a big fan of natural therapy and you don't have to follow her advice 100%, but how good is it to have a free service like this one? It's awesome.

The prescriptions counter is conveniently located near the Medical Practice so as soon as I'm done with my appointment, I go straight there to pick up my prescriptions. The Pharmacists there are very nice. I have had queries to do with different brands of medicine and they were quick to answer with helpful information. They are discreet so if you have any questions which you feel are quite personal, they handle the queries with the upmost professionalism. I like this chemist for their professional and friendly nature, the great stock they have and the convenience of being next to my local GP.
